Split Beam Weapons

Since the first time i got one of these i havn't used anythign else, then when i got a second i equipped that and i switch back and forth using the aoe timer, i just think they are awesome, especially for taking out groups and lets face it most of the ground mission mobs are just standing around in groups.

I've been in a couple of grouped missions with other players and i've noticed that i'm usually the only one using them, i'm i the only one that has noticed how awesome duel wielding two of these switching between the aoe timer? or am i missing out on something about other weapons.

I use solely split beams too, boffs can carry expose stuff or when on my sci I use kit powers for expose as well as boffs.

Boffs I give full auto/spray weapons or pulse rifles.

The other exploit weapons seem weak to me.

The sniper is nice but split does the same damage and on more targets can be very effective if multiples get exposed, and as I dislike ground it's nice when things go quick.

Ground combat is pretty crappy. Dual Split beams is the norm for ground combat. If you use anything else you either haven't learned this or you just don't like being efficient. Nuff said really.

I use a split beam and a Bat'leth. All my BOs have expose weapons. Works quite well. :)

I do the same in PVE and have noticed in PVP that no one uses them. They are probably gravely missinformed.
