With the new raid content almost here, I'm convinced the demand for using master looter is likely going to increase. The majority of STO players don't seem to have raid experience, and can't always be relied upon to make sound judgements when rolling need and greed; you can avoid alot of needless disasters with master looter.
Having said that, one very obvious feature seems to be missing... I don't see a way to roll dice, or generate a random number? The /roll command certainly doesn't do this.
Has anyone found a way to do this in game?

OMG, I didn't think about that before...
...that will be horrible. Hordes of inexperienced trekkers and carebears ignoring all etiquette, refusing all communication in chat and having no willingness to learn the basics.
And that in a game with the difficulty level of, well, a game for 6 year olds.
Fail, epic fail.
The horrors of "need / greed" lay ahead of us, this time squared, because of the audience.
Note to self:
Never join a game with a non - gamer - IP again. NEVER.

Are u in bad mood?
anyway.. Since the game has a master loot system it should have a random system which players can use to define who will win the item. It's common thing on others MMO and it's missing in STO.
OP is right: Master Loot is the easiest way to avoid drama in raids.

I just scanned the entire command list, and I don't see anything. :(
