While I'm here though - quick question...what's best weapon for constituation light cruiser? Are phaser cannons better than phaser beam??:confused:

but since u are new I will tell you probably best to go with beam arrays, since your turning is a little sluggish and they have a wide firing arc. Nothing wrong with a dual beam bank on the front as well. Also you cannot use cannons, unless you are referring to turrets which are cannon-type weapons. I would say no to turrets, you should consider them later on when you get more fore/aft weapon slots but on the Constitution I would strictly go with Beam arrays and a photon/quantum torp
