Unable to get in-game at all

Background information: I am *trying* this game out. I have the two day trial, which I made sure to activate just a few short hours ago.

Downloaded, installed and patched through the launcher: No issues.
Logged in, created character, selected character, launch game: No issues.

Spock does his rambling thing, giving us the backstory yada yada: No issues.

However, as soon as Spock is done I get kicked out of the game and put back to the log-in screen with the error Couldn't Transfer Character. Press the Support button for additional help which simply brings up the forums.

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance, advice and help for my issue.

It looks like you've been able to play for a few hours today. Were you able to log in again and resolve the issue?

I can't login either, all it says is "unable to authenticate" after I type in my name and password.

I would suggest the authentication server is screwed atm?

I have the same Problem in Germany. After i have Type the Username and Passwaort : "Unable to authenticate".

i was in the middle of a mish and got booted from sever or discounted it says as soon as i changed maps, and then i tried to log in and same thing happens it won't let me log in i tried several times and a no go. whats up

Me too. Seems to be a general problem that nobody wants to care about. A little note by the support like "thanks for advice. we'll check this" should be possible. But, sorry. I dont want to keep you off from counting your money.

Yah. I decided to try out my second character slot with a *NON* customized character. My first character I used the advanced character creatiion screen, my second I just clicked the various blah options and that's what got it working. =)

did the same thing and now i can play the damn thing! seems kind of stupid for it to be like that, after all this time i thought it was my ati driver but no it didnt like my character! :P
