I spend more time on the forums than the game

wow, thats sexist. and i can have 2 windows open at the same time it just runs down speed and preformance so i prefer to do things individually!

As much as I enjoy STO, this forum is much more entertaining. I usually keep it open while I'm playing the game, but honestly, I haven't been playing STO that much. I finally fixed my PS2... Kinda... And it's been eating most of my free time like a delicious chocolate snack cake.

Which kind of makes me realize that the lack of social interaction in the game has led me here. As well as a content downturn.

I realised yesterday that if I spent the same amount of time and effort in-game as I do in the forums, I'd be RA5 by now. And that's scary.

Only I don't see it as a predicament, since I've been making friends thanks to the forums. I don't know if its that way for everyone, but I've been lucky so far. There is a really funny, smart group of people here in Ten Forward so I'm hooked. :D

I'll agree with this, and with the 'lack of social interaction in-game' guy earlier. That's what drew me to this forum in the first place. I've been playing since the first week of open beta, and I think I may have said all of 5 words to my teammates- and they've said maybe half that many to me.

Then I joined this forum, and a bit later on, the in-game channel for this forum. Between people like Chat, Raven, Woe, Capulet, Jonathan Kent, SaintHazard, Hairymanback and others, this is probably the best group of people I've seen in any MMO I've played.

I do. I am finding it hard to stay connected to the game because of the servers. So I usually vent here. Overall I am connected about 75% of the time. And no it has nothing to do with my connection, I have highspeed internet w/ 16 gigs of bandwith.

Also when the servers are down for maintenence etc it always happens in prime gaming time in my time zone (GMT +8)
