Searching for an ACTIVE fleet.

Good Morning.

I have come to the conclusion that finding an ACTIVE fleet to join might be the best course of action.

Even though I just made Commander 0, I have been playing since launch.....but there is more to this story.

I work for the USGS (US Geological Service) and will, from time to time, be called away to some small unheard of patch of the world for a few weeks here and there. Since launch I have had to spend 2 weeks in Midway (the island of WWII fame) and a 10 days in American Samoa studying a fault line. So from time to time I might drop off the face of the earth for a little bit, but I will re-surface as I always do.

I am looking for the following in a fleet.

Active, I would like to always have a few people to talk to and do missions etc etc with whenever I am on.

Organized. I can not stand disorganization on any level.

Mature. I am in my low 30's and usually can not/will not tolerate teenage shenanigans.

Helpful. This mmo is drastically different than any other mmo I have ever played. If I have a question about theory or missions or something, I would appreciate an honest and truthful answer. I am not a person who asks questions first. I practice the school of theory to try something, study something and give it an honest try.....if I am asking a question it usually is because I have exhausted all my resources.

I am looking for a long term commitment...on my behalf and on a new fleet's behalf. I am not a player who stirs the pot, or riles up the monkeys so to speak. I will however say it as it is. With this said, yes I can come across as a jerk. It is who I am. I'll tell you as I see it. If someone is being a d-bag, I will tell them so.

Above all else, I am looking for a place that will be around for a while. Somewhere to complete endgame tasks, discover new content, and be on the cutting edge so to speak.

**Bonus, if you have an active website, and possible ventrilo, that is a big bonus.**

Project Navras may very well be the fleet you're looking for. Who are we?
We mainly cater to the mature player. Players who have time restraints, family, spouses, full time jobs. Players who know what it's like to have bills and mortgages to pay. Players who know what "waggro" is (I just described myself!) Our members are mature and practical in their conduct. We were formed by casual players whom like to have all the benefits of a fleet without any of the hassles of a rigid command structure. While we may be casual we are very dedicated. Above all else our fleet is about getting together and having fun with our members. I think the Sentinels would be a perfect fit for you. We do have ventrillo and a website as well as many active members. I encourage you to check us out.

The Sentinels are a multi-gaming community with an average age of 30+ and no drama!

We have an active membership in several different MMO's and are building our Starfleet Division here in STO. At this point we have about 50 to 60 active members in our fleet and are steadily growing. The overall guild has over 500 active members and we also maintain our own guild Ventrilo server. We look for quality over quantity, and have a very thorough application process. Its our goal to make sure you are as happy with us as we will be with you.

I am impressed with everything everyone has brought to the table so far.

I have been actively checking everyone out, and have applied to one or two offers so far.

You sound like you would fit in very well with COGs. We are a group of like minded players that feel the game is best enjoyed in a group. We work together to make the game more fun and to promote group play. Our goal is to make it possible for our members to always have the help they need to complete those hard missions and encounters.

Our Rules/Values
1. Must be mature
2. Need to use Ventrilo (its easy to set up and a big help)
3. We take care of our own
4. Wear the fleet uniform
5. Have fun

We do all aspects of the game and don't tell you how to play. We always are well organized and willing to help out players. In fact officers in the fleet are required to help players that need help, but we like helping so its not a big deal. We use vent to better communicate. I think you would find a bunch of us in the same age and maturity levels. We also have a few other members in the armed forces.
