cant log in

when you start up STO it goes to the launcher update (small window before going to the login launcher) and it does not go anywhere after that and just stays at the auto update popup what can i do? this only just happened recently and i have even tried re-installing the game and that has not worked

Check your firewall, something is probably blocking the launcher. You can run a nettest to verify.

I'm now getting the same thing.

I get internet fine. I tried disabling the firewall but the launcher just keeps trying to connect....

Help..?

Nevermind. My software firewall wasn't the problem my hardware one was. Got my modem replaced yesterday and this one has an internal firewall. Ran the nettest and added the ports. All is good now.
