Where do I find the Klingon Characters?

Excuse me for thr STO nooob question. Finally got back home, loaded STO and can only play fed. When or where can I change to play as a Klingon?

Once you hit Lt 6 or 7 it should unlock the kling char for another char slot so that you can play that faction.

There is even a tab regarding the Klingons.
The manual is not half as bad as you think,
it's just not that obvioulsy placed.

You unlock Klingons at level 6 OR if you complete the mission "Stop The Signal' and are level 5. You get a notice about 'KLingon Gameplay Unlocked'.
