crafting

All the samples that I collect, If I am not interested in crafting at Alpha Memorey, do they do me any good? If I collect them what do I do with them? Do they just take up room or is there a use for them somewhere at a later time Thanks?

I never tried this, but if they can be put on exchange, perhaps there is a market for them
