How does one aquirire a purchase form the c-store like a ship ? can you instantly use your ship or do you have to aquire it from a station?

click on the arrow next to your mini map and then click on c-store
select the item you want then buy it

for ships you need to go to a starbase with a shipyard like sol or ds9, then go to change ship, click advanced and change each section manually to your new one

one clicks the drop down menu in game (triangle looking button on the mini map). then one chooses "C-Store", then one purchases what one wants. after that one then goes to "special unlocks" and selects their purchase and hits the "Claim!" button.

If you purchase a ship, one must own or purchase the ship that is being replaced. Example. If i buy the Imperial class from the C-Store, I have to use the assault cruiser in order to fly it cause the Imperial class is a costume that goes over it.
