Upgrading account

I got the demo downloaded and I liked the game enough to try it out for a few months. Sence I have all ready downloaded the demo do I need to still buy the game or just signe up for a monthly subscription and it will just update my account.

Cant seem to find any info on this issue so I thought I could ask

You will need to buy a copy of the game to play. You need the code that comes with it to activate a full fledged account.

Your best pricing option is to go with Steam (www.steampowered.com) right now from what I can see. They are selling STO for $29.99 and the DDE for $39.99 which is a savings of $20 off most other retailers.

You need to purchase the game and enter the Retail Key. You will get 1 free months play from that - though you'll need to enter a Credit Card to play (you won't be billed until the beginning of your 2nd month so you have plenty of time to cancel, if you want to, before you get billed for the 2nd month).

How does it work If you purchase through Steam, do you need to re-download the game again through steam or do you get a code that can be used in your STO account settings to upgrade your account?

You should be able to use your demo client (Though I am not 100% on this, only one way to find out for sure). You just have to apply the retail code given to you on your account before proceeding.

Ok I have currently downloading the game from steam and I am wondering when do I get the gamming key that lets me upgrade my account so I can play it as a non-demo game/account. I have check my email address and it was not sent their and I did not get it when I payed for the game... sooo where do I get it ???

That is weird, I played the demo and went to buy the game as a digital download, got my CD key in the mail right away and I didn't have to redownload the game. Just entered the CD key and off I went.
