I've actually found a look that I like for my Star Cruiser!

OK, so I got my Engineer to RA1 and merrily requisitioned my Star Cruiser. Renamed her, re-registered and outfitted her, and then... when I tried to customize her appearance, I was slightly put off by offered parts. So... I went to the C-Store and bought the Star Cruiser Nomad skin.

Playing with all those parts and option, resulted in the attached images, which I'm very satisfied with. Cheers Cryptic! :)

Oh! Before I forget, if anyone would like to recreate the design, here's the breakdown:
Hull: Nomad
Saucer: Emissary
Nacelles: Nomad
Pylons: Vanguard

Old thread is Old, I know but I just picked the game back up and I can't help but say I love he nomad option. The rest of the star cruiser hulls just feel too stretched but with pylons positioned further up (and the better designed impulse engines) that hull just let fall in love with my star cruiser. THX CRYPTIC (cheesy thumbs up, wink, and grin.)

I would like the Star crusiers if it weren't for the super flat saucers and lack of a double Hull. Even a little bit of raise, like on the Sovereign would have been better looking than the pancake saucer with its deflector dish nub.
