Every enemy group you kill should be a new respawn point. That is all.

YES!!! Most assuredly. Especially if you are playing on elite and you make it all the way through the winding confines of some space station, all the way to the last mob, and die, and have to wind your way ALLLLLLL the way back. It's very annoying and time consuming.
Once you kill a mob, it would be great if that room was your new respawn point.
