I feel I already know the answer. Just asking for clarity sake.
Can the Joined Trill be applied to a character already in use or do I have to make a new one??

I think I know your feeling, and I am afraid I have to confirm it - you have to make a new one.
Maybe sometime, someday, there will be trait respec. Maybe sometime, someday, there will be race respec.
But I figure till then, you already levelled 3 new Vice Admirals or something.

No race respec. PLEASE. Thats the worst idea to even consider.
And yes, you have to start a new char when you buy a new species.
