If you are doing, plz2ignore and let this thread enjoy its trip to page 102 or wherever...
Otherwise;
Cryptic, I am disappoint.
... a pop-up window -- seriously? This isn't Pokémon and we're not playing this on a GBC.
How hard would it have been to make a dabo table _in game_ and have a couple of animations between the characters and the table... Yes, it'd only have, say, 4 people per table but you could add more tables then there would be room for everyone -- even if someone was hogging it all the time.
But anyhu, yeah.. awesome idea and thanks for smacking it in game - just a bit disappointed, that's all.

I'd be more worried about them checking the actual game mechanics, specifically the payoff tables.
This little fan-made Star Wars 'mmo' RP-thing I used to play added an NPC casino once(it was a webpage). Had two games, Roulette and Sabbac (a somewhat contradictorily defined star wars card game.) Sabbac ended up getting disabled within a couple of days and never re-enabled.
It turned out, it was fairly easy to win at it, and in very large amounts. Before it was shut down, a few people got extremely rich off it, which directly caused hyper-inflation on a massive scale(the game, and especially the economy, were extremely small).
It wasn't the last time they had a problem like that either. They had an NPC ship market too, that nobody used because of the prices on it. So they added a system whereby the prices fluctuated. Unfortunately, they fluctuated based not on any measure of how it was doing, but on an arbitrary coefficient. What this meant was, you could sell all your ships when it was high, and buy them back(and more) when it went down, and make continual profits.
The first time they solved it by implemented a modified version of a suggestion of mine: Ship manufacturing, acting as a credit sink in exchange for items.
The second time, they killed the market when it was on a massive downtick and left everyone holding a bunch of ships instead of cash, crashing the prices on the ships.

Yeah and don't get me started on SWG's Solo Grouping...
General rule though: Easy money = bad for games. Drives prices up, on everything ultimately, and makes it hard for noobs to get off the ground.
Especially if the easy money is something you can't do right off.

Well it's Gold Pressed Latinum what you win so it will not interfere with the exchange.
But the joke is that you can just keep playing with Energy Credits and keep winning Latinum....
You dont have to risk your Latinum.
My suggestion, disable the Energy Credit payment method as soon as the player has 1000 Latinum.
Enable it again if he falls below 500.
Who doesnt have a quazilion energy credits by now?
Basically we can just change them in for Latinum by pressing a button again and again.
I agree with the OP, why is this no 3D thing in the Game Engine?
It is very disconnecting from the MMO World...
Also it says i can play with my friends... i dont see how this would be possible.
I cant even follow what the other players are doing because it is to much data on the screen flying by way to fast.
The game itself isn't fun either.
Just a "one armed bandit" for multiple players.
I dont see me coming back there just for fun as soon as i have all the Rewards i can get from it.
It add's a little tiny bit depth to the game, which is good.

Or, perhaps set a buy in so that you exchange the creds for latinum and then bet solely with the latinum.
Means you can have a currency broker.
