So I'm looking to work on places to farm ground kills for the trophies and would like some feedback. Some I already know, I know there are some missions that you can drop and readd to farm, but I'm looking for repeatables. I will do the repeatable if there are no other options.

Borg Ground--The Tutorial, STFs, Otha System
Klingon Ground--Breaking the Planet, Starbase 24
Reman Ground--The Big Dig
Romulan Ground--The Big Dig

The one's I'm missing are:
Gorn Ground
Hirogen Ground
Nausicaan Ground
Orion Ground

Do exploration missions in the areas where those enemies are located. So for the Gorn, Nausicaan, and Orion, do exploration missions around Klingon space. The Hirogen would be in Romulan space.

Why would you want to torture yourself? Trophies aren't worth it to have suffer through ground combat just to get them.

That's your opinion. In my opinion, and apparently in jennjahn's opinion, it is worth it.

Thanks for the answer.

So I should look in places like Eridan Belt, Arucanis Arm, Khazan Cluster, Hromi Cluster, & Afehirr Nebula.

I hate to ask for clarification, but would anyone know if each of these locations is known to spawn an enemy type more then others? For example Eridan Belt--more Hirogen, Arucanis Arm--more Gorn, etc.

Yes those are the places you would want to look at. As for which would spawn more, I'm not sure. I don't even know if there is a difference.

Bummer.

Think it would be too much trouble to ask cryptic to add squads of faction members to the ground enabled fleet actions?

Gorn, Nausicaan, and Orions to breaking the planet / SB 24 Hirogen to big dig

You could ask, but I doubt they would do it.

I know there is a Gorn ground mission that had a ton of Gorn around on Federation side, I forget what it was though. What I remember is you had 3 pylons that you had to disable in order to attack the boss Gorn. It's the same mission where you get an accolade for scanning a body. Either way, Gorn were quite prevalent, so if you could get someone to share it, you could pop in there and clean up the Gorn on the ground (except for the boss), then leave till it resets.

That was a regular story mission, not a fleet action or anything so unless he still has it there isn't a way it can be done until mission replay is added to the game.

It can't be shared by another player? I was pretty sure these could be shared.

They can be shared. The mission is Researcher Rescue, I believe in the Kassae system.

Now if only I can remember where that planet was, and what the questname was, of the one where you have to save a bunch of Fedling from a Hirogen hunting ground. (Somewhere in Romulan space.)

That might be the Hunting Hunters mission, but I'm not sure.

I know, but even having a mission repeat (which is not even an option at this point) , is--to me--a bit of an immersion breaker. I think the game should have the option to fight a numerous quantity of whichever type floats your boat without having to play the mission drop/pickup game.

DSEs do this for the space portion, they need to add a ground version of them.

?!? I don't follow that logic at all... for me, especially when playing as a Federation character, killing anything over and over again for an accolade that grants me +2% damage and maybe a unique title is an immersion breaker.

Your not repeating the mission so much, as once it's shared, you just go down and clear most of it, without completing the final objective, and then leave the map. For instance, in the Gorn mission, you could completely ignore the part where you have to take down the shield generators, and just kill Gorn. Then beam out and return to the map once it resets. For me that's no more immersion breaking than a ground DSE that just allows me to slaughter hundreds of enemys just waiting around for me to kill them.

Either way, the grinding for Accolades is for people who appreciate collecting accolades or for min/maxers who enjoy having every benefit they can get. Starfleet however, is not supposed to be an e-Peen measuring group of bloodlusted kill freaks. Captain Picard would likely be embarrassed and ashamed to find out that he had killed 1000 Klingon. Captain Kirk... well.. that's probably a different story.

Potato, potahto. One could say I follow in the fine star fleet tradition of Ronald Tracey and Kelvar Garth
