Hey everyone!

This thread was originally removed because of Copyright concerns. While most of the linked YouTube videos had been taken down already, we had a bunch of other areas that were problematic.

Because this thread was so popular and you guys enjoy watching the episodes together, I've gone in and removed all of the file-sharing links that made the thread problematic. Please do not link full episodes ripped from DvDs, TiVOs or similar. Thanks so much! :)

I've left anything that linked to iTunes and Netflx alone, as well as the mention of the CBS YouTube channel which hosts the TOS episodes for anyone to watch.

Have fun!

Would it not be faster just to note the table of contents on the back of each DVD sleeve?

No offence but there seems to be little point in this thread. Even when people comment you ignore them, the episode in question is never discussed.

So in essence, how is this thread any better than reading the back of the dvd cover in order?

Sorry, I usually respond to each reply myself (look back through all of the pages). Just missed yours the other day it seems.

This thread actually included a link to watch the episode, up until a couple of months ago, but we had to remove them to ensure we were not participating in copyright infringement.

If you check the OP, it states that this is a Journey, of sorts, that allows someone to watch an episode each night. If someone is following along, they can type the name of the episode into iTunes/ Amazon/ Netflix to watch.

For instance, I was really touched by Episode 381 and I really love how DS9, as a series, is developing. I hear Season 5 is insane!

Fact: The first big effort on Paramount's part at large scale battles for Star Trek.

It isnt until 'Sacrific of Angels' that the very first mega battle comes up which is followed up by 'Tears of the Prophets', 'Shadows and Symbols' and the double 'What you leave behind'. Apart from DS9, there was only one other battle that lasted over a couple of episodes with lot's of CGI effects as well, Enterprise's 'Azati Prime' all the way upto 'Zero Hour' at the end of season 3 as well as one last episode before it's end of season 4, 'Kir'Shara'.
Voyager also had some time with CGI effects like that of Enterprise and DS9, however it only lasted a few seconds rather then taking up at least 3 minutes or more of show time for the double episode 'Scorpion', so it's not counted.

I must say "The Sacrifice of Angels" and "Waltz" both really knocked it out of the park.

One of Deep Space Nine's strengths is they embraced their reacurring cast and gave them some of the best material on the show. Marc Alaimo blew me away as Dukat in "Waltz".

Although I thought killing off Ziyal was a sad move, it really drives Dukat into an interesting new direction.

Glad to see you're enjoying the journey still, Brandon! :)
