planetary aid missions, is it me or just another bug?

i just had probably one of the worst days of my life...

i would flame and troll a little but im just too tired and i already got myself an infraction back at the good old glorious bugged febuary days...anyway the to the point....

you see i wasnt lucky enough to play on the first days of season 2 where everybody became ambassador in 2 days tops....so the only way for loser me to get at least attache was to do the standard 7 easy ones and then search for planet aid...all was good till today.for some reason i cant get a planetary aid mission no matter where i am or how may times i try....its been a long day...so i have to ask

please dear devs is there some trick to get planetary aid missions?

why oh why every time (3 times actually) i find one its allways the same (dont remember system name) and its for some reason bugged?tried the logout login trick but nothing happened...no tactical officer saying me people need help...

even if thats not enough...a gal found one and was so awesomely wonderful and thoughtfull inviting me so i could get those 10 diplomatic xps...what happened?i got thrown into different maps!:mad:!why?im a good guy.i didnt hurt anybody,didnt brake any laws.why is this persistent thing happening?is it me?cause others dont have that problem...

i guess this is a desparate post that will get deleted but please someone say something!im all out of option here and i feel so stupid...since most of the others got advantage of the first days and got ambasador in the blink of an eye...this is almost cheating!and all these months that im playing did so many quests and so many planet aids ... doesnt that count for something?shouldnt i get points from those missions?

please tell me is this a bug or am i so unlucky...cause if this is not a bug then the only alternative is to find a priest and ask him to chant a few blessings on my pc!seriously this is how unnatural this situation feels.

anything will help...

ps please devs you have to do something about this randomness with explo missions...it gets really annoying.:(

These bugs are known and fixes are already on Tribble for testing. And there are 8 diplomatic missions and they are all easy. :)

any idea when the nxt patch is coming?

i wait for august all year!this is when i get my vacation!all month!and now im home and lost a day trying to make this work.very hard to find time to play during normal working weeks,and then weekends have to see my girl a little.i wish i was in college again...

They said the changes now on Tribble will probably arrive next week. :)

Aid the Planet missions are not the only way to get Dxp. Just focus your attentiions m,ore on no combat and keep up with the ambassador and they should go by alot quicker.

you really need to expain none combat missions...cause i did like a billion of them...the classic gather 5 for example...as for the ambassador maybe you didnt notice but im still trying to get attache...there is no ambassador before that.or at least this is how the game works for me and im patch up to date.:p

You can do the same these days too.. the bugs that allow for fast diplomacy gathering still exist


so the only way for loser me to get at least attache was to do the standard 7 easy ones and then search for planet aid..
Any non-combat mission (except for gather 5 anamolies) will give you diplomacy exp.

They have been buggy since release, nothing new.

Wait till the next release.. things will still be buggy, but not much you can do. But most of us had the same issues you are facing now, and though it took some time, still managed to get to Admiral... you just need to keep scanning, looking for those non-combat missions :)

Right now the only bug i have seen in Aid the planet is a trigger bug were the box does not appear when you get close to the planet so they may have taken some of those offline to fix them I am sure its just a timing issue.

well my main problem was that in 50 missions only a few were aid...thats too dang rare.

anyway from the moment i posted this thread by some mysterious way the game decided to love me again!

everything works now for me...dont really get it...but hell i like it!

well been here since the realese so ive seen more buggy days...but i just cant take it on "those" days that you happen to encounter all possible bugs together...that was one of those days...
