In my paper craft newsletter today was an article about space ship crafts. The following links will be of interest to my fellow STO players:

http://www.thedimensionofnothing.com/freepaperstartrek.htm (voyager, delta flyer, trim tricorder)
http://jaybats.webs.com/dealerschoice.htm (huge variety of all sci-fi models)
http://paperstarships.tengun.net/ (variety)

Best thing: it's all free! You need a printer, scissors, glue and a bit patience.

I haven't made any yet, I already have too many craft projects lined up

If anyone tries their hand, pictures would be awesome, as well as other crafty Star Trek things! :)

I've made several starships, mostly Constitutions, out of 2 lt. bottles, 1/2 lt. lemonade bottles, cardboard, chip cans and hot glue before. Don't know if those would count for what ya are lookin' for, but I'd probably make those in my free time. I'll post pictures of the pop bottle ships if ya want me too.

I made the shuttle Janeway used in the final Voyager episode.
Here (http://a.imageshack.us/img84/8680/cshuttle1.jpg) is the front, and here (http://a.imageshack.us/img836/4804/cshuttle2.jpg) is the back.
I downloaded it from Jay's Box (http://www.freewebs.com/jaybats/) (slow website this morning).

It was one of my early attempts at using heavier weight paper. The hot glue I tried was terribly bad, I ended up having to cut blobs of it off when I finished -- a glue stick does much better for these little guys. I also found out that heavy weight paper bends amazingly more easily if you make a shallow cut where you want to fold it first. This is the only trek model I did. I have others from Homeworld and such.

I'll post what images I have access to. I dont have any images of the last one I built but it's the same as the Constitution with the green deflector basically. I'll post the others when I find them.

First Attempt (3-Feet in Length)

This one was done for an art show, and by all terms, it "died" as it got sat on in the days following the art show

Miranda and Second Construction a Constitution (Constitution is 3-Foot)

These are the second (the Miranda) and third (Constitution) ships I've built. The Constitution is an improvement upon the first design.

Refit Constitution, Ship #5

The fifth ship I've built. I intended to make it small enough to fit in a school locker, but made it too large.

Smaller Refit Constituion, Ship #6

Name says it all. Smaller version of Ship #5

USS Arizona

My first ship class design. The image covers everything from the picture I drew in Seventh grade to the 3-Foot model I built.

Space Shuttle (Not Trek Related but I feel it belongs here as well)

For refrence, I'm 5'2'' in this image.

Uh oh Zero, you might have a new stalker. Quick, grow a beard and move to Haiti.

I've been continualy tempted to do some papercraft, but I don't know that I have the focus to finish one anymore.

No, *I* wouldn't even stalk someone underage..... I will sell her cereal, though. :p

I've only done a couple that took several sheets. It's a lot more fun to do a one-afternoon job. Here's a fun one that'll get you hug from a girl: http://cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/3157/netherland-dwarf/index.html
Disclaimer: Not guaranteed to get a girl hug. Just consider who told you.

Thanks.
That's the shuttle without the 40-inch tail at that. It's bound to be about another foot taller when I get that on it

No worries here. I've been extremely vague as to where I live in WV. Besides, there are plently of holes in the mountains around here to hide in as far as that goes:)

Get ready for major sarcasm
Aww how cute. Disclamier: I don't do cute.

It'll so nicely as something to start a fire to keep warm.
