View Full Version : IMPORTANT!! READ!!Persisting 'Version Mismatch' error

Ok, I tried playing today, and got the 'Version Mismatch' error. I followed he advice from cryptic to just log out and log back in. The message persisted. I even restarted my computer, and the problem persisted. Does anybody have a fix for this? I'll be very thankful.

Try righ-clicking the launcher and selecting "Run as Administrator".

I am having the same problem. The game patched but I get the version mismatch error. The Run as Administrator trick does not work as I run XP, not Vista/7. The version number in my game is listed as ST.6.20101023b.4

My guess is I got a corrupted patch file, is there any way that I can re-download it?

Two things you can try
1. select force verify in the launcher options.

2. delete the hogg files in the /live/piggs folder (and maybe the gameclient.exe) and have the launcher redownload them
