Started up in August but left in October. Mainly left due to a lack of disposible income, friends getting bored with STO and the impending release of Cataclysm (they opted for FF14....XD). However despite it's flaws I still like STO and it seems the game has slowly been getting much better.

If I do return it'll most likely be after the first of the year. Mainly wondering what has changed (if anything) and if there have been any big additions to features either while I've been gone or in the coming month or so. While I'll never fully leave WoW behind it can't be the one and only thing I play :P

sector space is totally different. ie, it looks awesome.

we have the devidian series added, (like the breen one) a new featured series gets added in january.
new patrol missions added to eta eridani.

new breen daily mission added.

massive update to memory alpha.

klingons can now craft.

klingon patrol missions added to pi canis.

carriers got improved.

UGC is being added very soon (currently in testing) meaning you can create and play yours or other peoples missions. in my opinion the best feature ive ever seen in any mmo.

borg special task force loot that can be added to ships.

more high end klingon ships.

some new c-store items like the enterprise pack.

Well sector space is the biggest change I suppose.
The epic weekly episodes(Got 2 complete sets, Breens and Devidians).
You can buy Troi's camel in the C-store as well.

There are still some notable things to come in the near future as well. The Foundry is in beta on Tribble for starters. The ability to create your own missions, dialog, etc is always a welcome bonus. More uniforms like The Motion Picture and the All Good things to come. There are a couple of new ships on the horizon as well although one is Andorian, I can't recall what the other is. Borg augmentations which visually appear on your ship are due to be released sometime in the future and are currently available on Tribble. Then... there is the most important reason of all. BECAUSE THE AFCTF NEEDS YOU!!! :P
