Our lady got home today for the first time since Brandi and I were hit headon in April. I was surprised how well it did hold up consdiering the force of the impact (was calculated at 62mph head on). Luckily we lived through it.

Consider this a warning to those riding now, or thinking about getting a bike. The helmets is what saved our lives. That and we wore leather jackets and jeans. My wife and I were both flown out with critical injuries. I had half my hip replaced and tore open a lung. I now walk with a cane and my wife has permenant damage to her knee, sternum, and brain stem.

WEAR A DAMN HELMET AND RIDE RESPONSIBLY!!!!!

sorry to hear about the accident, at least you kept your lives and to a much lesser, yet no doubt still important degree, the bike.

I'm local Fire Department. This man speaks truth. Wear protective gear no matter how un-cool or w/e you think you are going to look or someone like me will be cleaning you up with a squeegee
