Ship slots question

Since I've been directed here from ticket responces that make no sense-here goes..

It seems 10 ship slots is the max you can have. (?)

I am told to 'discharge ' ships I dont want anymore ..will this leave me with 10 or if I , say drop 3 -will
I only have 7 spaces left ?

,,,but since my question didnt get answered from support except to 'buy more slots'...

Has anyone done this procedure?

Ship slots stay the same till you buy/given new slots. When you discharge ships the slots become open and you can buy/get more ships till you fill your open ship slots.

Where did you see it say 10 was the most you could have? I have like 24 or 26...more than 10, though maybe a bit much. I like ships though. :) You will keep your slots if you discharge ships though.

WOW ! 26 ships !!?? ..Brother, How do you use that many ?...lol I just didn't wanna lose my new ships
even though it's said if I delete one it can be brought back anytime .

(I'm also trying to help a newbie player that has this same thing happen to them when they got NO
slots above 10 without having to be told to "buy more" from...well -we all know who. ) .:rolleyes:
