View Full Version : Energy Credit Values Still Broken

Ground equipment of any kind above MK VIII does not scale with energy credit values. A common, uncommon or rare MK VIII ground weapon sells for the same amount of EC at a vendor as a MK IX, X, XI or XII one. Very rare items however seem to scale up properly.

As far as I could see, all space items do now scale up properly, even MK XII ones. Well done on that one, Kudos!

Hold it ... actually all values are still broken if you loot something new. All items that have already been looted before the patch scale up properly, butt any new item looted after the patch is scaled down to MK VIII values (only the credits though, the rest is scaling normally).

Update once again:

It's not just the energy credit values, it's all the values! I just checked Tricobalt Torpedo Launchers and Shield Arrays ... the ones with broken EC values also have less HP and regen (shield arrays) and less damage output (tricobalts).

So basically we now have two generations of items out there, something like the grandfathered consoles we used to have in the past that then became the prototype consoles ... please not again. This really needs to be fixed very soon.

Also something I've noticed: Why does a common MK XI wide beam pistol have the same damage (DPS / DPV) as an uncommon one with [Dmg] mudifier? Shouldn't it have 5% more basic damage because of the higher rarity and additional damage because of the [Dmg] mudifier? Unfortunately it's the same as the common MK XI wide beam pistol.

So now what do we all need to check?

Energy credit values after MK VIII.
Tooltip values of all items (grandfathering issue with items pre- and post-patch Season 4).
Mudifiers and rarity bonuses of damage for all weapons (ground and space I guess).
