New ways to get officers or level them.

My main is maxed out and I'm still using my common and uncommon officers.

I'm rather attached to my crew and finding rare and very rare variants are almost impossible to find.

I'm hoping that the DO system will have someway I can either upgrade/retain my current ones (i.e. innate abilities) or get new ones. Would be nice If i could even get my diplomatic officer's abilities increased.

If I'm in a role-playing state of mind I generally just change the name of Blue/Purple BOs to whomever I started with and just assume they're advancing in ability just as I am. So if I start out with a white Andorian Tactical officer named "Bob" when I get a blue or purple Andorian Tactical officer I delete Bob and rename the new one "Bob" in his place.
