Hi guys,
Due to so many new missions and obligations This thread is no longer accepting new missions. I would like to dedicate more time to helping new Foundry Authors. So head over to Filbones Critical Analysis (http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?p=3715135#post3715135) thread or subscribe and I'll let you know when I am accepting polished missions again. Thank you all for the support and good luck.

Filbones Reviews
This thread is for polished missions or final drafts looking for feedback as well as the possibility of publicity. If your a first time author or have a mission in development head over too the Filbones Critical Analysis (http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?p=3715135#post3715135) thread.
What to expect? Within this thread I will give my honest opinion towards the missions I have played. All submissions are subject to my opinion published at various Foundry related websites. I will never deny an authors right to request that anything I have published be deleted and will comply with there wishes. I will always do my best to promote a mission positively. I will only work on promoting mission I have enjoyed, that interest me, or show something exceptional.
How to Apply? Fill out all of the following criteria. Please keep it accurate to you published mission as I use this as the template for any future promotion.
TITLE : What is your mission called?
AUTHOR : What is your STO Nick?
CODE : What is the Mission Code?
LEVEL : What level do I have to be to play?
LOCATION : Where does the mission start?
LENGTH : How long does it take to play approximately?
TAGS : What are the tags of your mission? Please Include FED or KDF
DESCRIPTION : What is your missions description?
LINKS : youtube, photobucket, StarbaseUGC.com or FoundryMissions.com etc...
I would also love a brief description of how you made the mission and came up with your missions concepts. Also include any current bugs or design flaws your having trouble over coming.
When will I receive the review? I will send you mail in game that the review has been published within this thread. I will also let you know if I am to help promote your mission within this letter. There is a play list bellow for your reference as well.
Why have you started a new thread? The original thread Filbones Reviews Your Mission (http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=207109&highlight=filbones) was created for Tribble testing during Foundry's early beta days. I had no idea that the Foundry Beta forum would be conformed to the current one. I have always planned to do a solely Holodeck thread and now is the best time to do it.
Can I submit more than one mission or one that you have already reviewed? Yes, however it will not be added to the play list until I have played your first or current submission.

SYNOPSIS: Escort a VIP Blob to it's place of origin to hopefully find another blob. Known to the StarbaseUGC community as the space poo. I just hope it doesn't have a relation to that of which appears in the TV show South Park.
ANALYSIS: Still needs allot of polish towards directing the player. At times I was very lost and didn't know where the mission concluded from. Puzzles were scary at first, but once you figure out the equation of them, they are relatively easy. Loved the fact that you can't advance in the story unless you have been paying attention to the plot line and popups. Bob is so funny I was nearly crying with laughter in parts. I hope this isn't the conclusion to bob. This mission had allot more potential, however I enjoyed it as one of those less serious Trek episodes.
PROS: One of the funniest missions I've played. Great interactive puzzles. Excellent map design. Brilliant interaction with mission characters including an imaginary one.
CONS: The mission doesn't stand on it's own without playing the prequel. Pointless sector space travel. Mission direction in dialog was not highlighted and offend over looked while comprehending the text. Quest line was offend not supportive to the game play due to it's format.
VERDICT: Bazag is an amazing author. Some spelling and punctuation errors and little direction towards objectives do not hinder on the enjoyment of this mission. Any fans of BOB will love this new edition to Bazag's growing portfolio of well executed missions.

DESCRIPTION : The remains of a Starfleet cruiser passed to a third party generations ago have found their way into restricted Romulan space. At the request of the grandson of her commanding officer, ESD's newest promoted Fleet Admiral sends you on a recovery operation. A battle that was never meant to happen unfolds as a result of the ship's illegal experiments, ones impossible if you had never used the Guardian of Forever.

I considered this mission "polished" before this season, and I'd like to think it's a good first attempt. There may be some reworking as new tools come out, but the general story likely won't change much. There are several obscure references for fans, but the main plot only requires the player to know about the augment subplots around Miral Paris and the circumstances of Ambassador Spock's disappearance. All but two characters were created entirely for this mission. My wish in the future is to have a series based on alternate timelines that the player visits, making a difference in the lives of characters.
This started as an unknown test in mission making on Tribble that I completely remade and expanded on Holodeck. The main complaint has been length, but I don't see being able to leave the system in the middle of the story as being very practical. As you would say, walls of text! It wound up much longer than my original concept, a simple introduction to a series of missions, so I began making sure good chunks of the dialog were a side attraction. The primary reason is that there are characters I simply wouldn't be able to feature again, but I still wanted to tell their stories in log files, recordings, and a certain surprise or two.
The only new bugs, as a result of recent patches, are characters not speaking with the appropriate animation at times, and one nonessential Klingon NPC's dialog not being reachable. They're minor and shouldn't have any relevance to completing objectives.

TITLE : Digging in the Past

DESCRIPTION : Starfleet command has seconded your ship to the Federation Archeology Council. You are ordered to report to Hravishran Station in the Andorian System, Sirius Sector. Once at the station, you are to transport a representative of the Federation Archaeological Council and her delegation to the Goralis System, near Cardassia.
LINKS : StarbaseUGC.com (www.starbaseugc.com), come join the fun.
SYNOPSIS: Travel to a space station in the Andorian System to deliver a deligate when things go drastically wrong and you are forced to save and discover the very reason your delegate needs an escourt.
ANALYSIS: I have played this mission at least three different times. It is one of the classics that has survived from Tribble Beta + Triggers + Holodeck + NWO Foundry Collaboration. It is by far one of the best prelude to a crisis missions. I would of liked more within one mission, but the side quests may implement more time on this mission then the audience is prepared for. Love all the new map editions since the last time I played and the docking with the station was jaw dropping. It's unfortunate that the foundry limits this authors creation. Animation, wandering, wall and floor bugs do not take away the plot line and its surprises. I like the fact that this mission has become more of a discovery mission, rather than the regimented plot and dialog it was forced to use in previous edits due to foundry tools not yet implemented.
PROS: You can rely on this author for a well designed mission and the ability to enjoy his story with no confusion. There are elements to the mission that literal take you by surprise and create suspense. Plenty of content to explore outside of the actual quest line. Attention to detail encourages and comforts the player to learn what they are supposed to be achieving. Objectives are well directed and you don't have to reference the questline at all.
CONS: Wandering and animation effect radius's are too large and take away the realism of the environment. Shoot through walls and NPC behavior as well as floor bug spoil the stories situation. Possibly to many NPC's within maps create a crowded and claustrophobic atmosphere and interupt with camera angles.
VERDICT: Castmodean is a map creation specialist within the foundry and this mission is evident of that. Being one of this authors first and original missions, it has flourished and sustained itself through many Foundry updates and changes. Every time I have played it the Author has reinvented it and as the series continues. I can't see that changing. There are elements of this mission that will leave you speechless and asking yourself how did he do that?

THOUGHTS: A superb mission for any level of foundry player. Playable and enjoyable, however foundry bugs and limitations are the only thing that hold it back.

More play throughs and foundry updates are needed to make this mission perfect. I'd love more side quests please?
NOTES :
Perhaps you might consider doing an all level version buy dressing NPC's.
Wasn't this mission just at worf 359? Wow the first map was awesome. The warp in over the top of my ship by freighters was so exciting. My crew is stuck in the bottom of the transporter. Oh side mission was fun until I choose the wrong text and couldn't complete it. My away team had trouble getting out of a respawn point because it was in a room. Cardassian in hall way dressed as a TOS klingon?

This one is meaty. Lengthy. Dense on plot and combat, potentially. Has a few minor puzzles as well.
If you're a fan of "Space Seed" or Voyager's "Future' End" or "First Contact", check it out.
This probably the densest mission I've seen in the game. I'll add a trailer after I get some reviews.

SYNOPSIS: Salvage a mysterious ship wreck and uncover it's secrets as well as delve into the past of the VIP your escorting. Every character has a story and this mission doesn't leave anyone out.
ANALYSIS: This mission is very... very... text heavy. It's bigger than most novels I read. By fare the longest and best Wall-O-Text mission I have played. Unfortunately it is easy to lose track of the main plot line. It is made up with amusing colloquialisms based of Trek, Pop Culture and Foundryisms. “Please state the nature of the ????” Hilarious! I am not a friend of the TXT heavy foundry mission, but this had me laughing and intrigued right up to the debriefing. Great mix of enemies as the story continues and amazing use of Pop ups and interactions to tell the story. This Author has an exuberant amount of Foundry knowledge and this missions development and polish will make him a well sort after foundry creator.
PROS: A high quality of detail towards dialog, map creation and object interaction. The story and character subplots are highly detailed and characterized. Optional extras are vast and easy to follow. Great direction towards objectives.
CONS: No definitive option to play the mission with only main plot line dialog and interaction. Heavy dialog makes for a long mission in an already unpopular Foundry category. Use of NPC enemies are hard and sometimes over whelming.
VERDICT: I do not like TXT based missions. I encourage all authors to create there missions with only TXT that advances the plot line. This missions is the exception and as it has been in development and been analyzed and played at various stages of it's development. It is a land mark achievement for the Foundry. This is not a Foundry mission or a Story, it is a created universe. I just wish the author could of used all these characters and story to make an amazing series with more than just the one climax offered in this mission.

THOUGHTS: A massive adventure filled with new characters and the option to explore each and every one of there backgrounds. The best TXT based mission I have played on Foundry.

Greetings filbones,
Now that you are back to your reviewing status, I'd like to submit mine for your thoughts.
Title: Spawn of Medusa
Author: Duke-of-Rock
Code: ST-HCQTJBEGV
Level: Any Level
Location: Starting at Seedea System, Pi Canis Sector Block
Length: Approximately 1 hour
Tags: FED, SPACE, GROUND, COMBAT
Description: You are ordered to assist a Klingon aquaintance from a previous encounter and investigate a
new threat to the Quadrant and the Federation.
This is a story about a species from eons past that has re-emerged and intends to conquer all within their grasp. A Klingon Captain who you have a mutual respect for from a previous mission (Omega Directive Revisited) has requested your help as the Empire is under attack from this species. Why would you assist the Klingons in an endeavor that threatens them, you may wonder? Your previous contact with this particular Klingon Captain and her assistance to help you fight a common enemy is the motivation behind the plot. You will quickly learn that this evil new matriarchal structured species is a danger not only to the Klingons, but the whole of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
This is the pilot to a multi-part story Arc, but I feel it sets the tone for the next missions nicely, and does not leave you feeling as though you have an uncompleted mission. There are a few Trek Trivia based puzzles in some unexpected locations, but I chose to use easy puzzles in this first part for beginner players, as this is available to all ranks. The beginning dialogue has an "encoded" data question that refers to the Omega Directive Revisited mission, but you can randomly answer quickly to unlock the message, making the need to know the info from the previous mission unnecessary. I have this in the mission for some friends that played the previous mission, but made it very easy to get through otherwise.
Bug issue: In the Catacombs there is a Boff pathing issue that at first, left you alone to fight an enemy mob in the next chamber. I did relocate a spawn point, and now the Boffs will follow you into the fight. However, even though they are not needed following the battle, the pathing bug will leave them at the fight location as you proceed before returning to you in the next map transition. This will not affect the mission completion but it is and unfortunate bug that I cannot correct due to the Foundry's current status with these issues.
I hope you give it a try. Thanks.

"Yesterday is Tomorrow" By Leviathan99
Name: Yesterday is Tomorrow
Project ID: ST-HNCZPAE54
Faction: Federation
Level Restriction: None
Location: Vulcan
SYNOPSIS: This mission incorporates all the foundry cliché plot lines and story mechanics brought to you in an adventures original form. Missing artifact, ship dead in space, save a culture, romantic interest and much much more.
ANALYSIS: At first, foundry bugs take your attention away from enjoying the story. NPC's following my Boffs as they fall through the floor. Very aggravating until you realize that this is a mission that can not be rushed and it is in the players best interest to take time with dialogs and objectives. Characters are introduced at a good pace and they make you feel apart of the story. Interacting is usually rudimentary with foundry missions, but multiple objectives and popup option have you on the edge of your seat. If I had never played a foundry mission before I would say this is better then any of Cryptic's episodes. As always, Leviathan99 has gone along way to design the maps to feel authentic, genuine and appealing. The vast use of foundry elements make this mission an adventure as entertaining as an early Steven Spielberg movie.
PROS: Vibrant colorful and realistic maps. Brilliant choose of interaction and character as well as there actions. Follows all the generic objective and direction text professionally. Great story and Star Trek elements.
CONS: Foundry bugs such as Boffs falling through floors and beam in emote from a distance as NPC's spawn.
VERDICT: I had high expectations when reviewing this author having played previous missions. Very rarely are my hopes and expectations for a foundry mission underestimated, but this mission clearly takes the cake. Not much I can say to do it justice. No foundry missions is perfect, but this is probably as close as it gets.

LENGTH : 5-10 mins, about 12-15 if u thoroughly read the dialogue

DESCRIPTION : A large KDF force has been detected in the Alpha Zarini system, previously only known by long-range scans. Its strategic value is low and it seems to have very few natural resources, so a large KDF force there could mean trouble.
A somewhat large Federation attack force is sent in to investigate the matter once You deliver a new piece of technology to them. Nobody knows exactly what to expect, but either way, the KDF force's purpose in that system must be established.
The prologue to my other missions, this mission only introduces You to the events leading to the first mission.
it's not heavy on foundry mechanics, my second mission is tho
RogueEnterprise has already reviewed it and found a major visual bug that i cannot fix:
on lowest, high and highest (0, 2 and 3 thirds of quality bar, respectively) you get funky visuals which really look bad (caused by the sun -distant object on background- which i don't think you can remove)
therefore, i HIGHLY recommend you play this mission on 1/3 the quality slider bar, because only then it looks the way it's supposed to.
also, reading the dialogue is important to the story itself in the 1st mission
1 final note:
the last spawn after you finish the last objective is meant to destroy u. you respawn far off so you can exit easily.

AUTHOR : @Pi-3Orionis
CODE : ST-HLW67FOB5
LEVEL : 35+
LOCATION : Alpha Centauri Sector Block
LENGTH : Medium
TAGS : FED GRP (possibly SRP instead, see notes)
DESCRIPTION : A Starfleet ship with sealed orders and special modifications goes missing in the Neutral Zone. Can you find it before it is overtaken by enemies of the Federation? And who is really responsible for the calamity that befell the ship? This mission has two possible resolutions! (Part 1 of a three-part arc, but each mission is intended to be self-contained in scope.)
LINKS : None as of yet.
The main antagonist of this story arc is a character I roleplayed back in my days on Star Trek MU*s. I've updated his story to STO's setting and given him a new set of motivations. I'm also trying to stretch my creative muscles and make as full use of new Foundry features as I can, like "optional" interactions and dialog that changes based on the player's actions.
I didn't have a good way to test this, but there's a possibility that the puzzle mechanics force this mission to be SRP -- I had no practical way of testing it with a group to see if things malfunctioned with multiple players. At any rate, the dialog is written to accommodate multiple RPers.
Known issues: Besides the outstanding known issues with Foundry in general, the explosion that's supposed to accompany the destruction of the satellite won't go off when I play the mission. Other than that, all of the dialog and mission critical triggers seem to work.

"Spawn of Medusa" By Duke-of-Rock
Title: Spawn of Medusa
Author: Duke-of-Rock
Code: ST-HCQTJBEGV
Level: Any Level
Location: Starting at Seedea System, Pi Canis Sector Block
Length: Approximately 1 hour
Tags: FED, SPACE, GROUND, COMBAT
Description: You are ordered to assist a Klingon acquaintance from a previous encounter and investigate a
new threat to the Quadrant and the Federation.
SYNOPSIS: On route to the Klingon border you receive a transmission from an old friend. A Klingon captain needs you help to rescue her ship, her crew as well as the Empire. It is your mission to save her and possibly the entire quadrant form a dangerous...
ANALYSIS: Spawn Of Medusa is one of the first help a friend missions created for foundry and as a pilot created before triggers it still holds it's own. Duke-of-Rock has been able to update this mission without losing it's original character. Back when simple design and basic stories were the 5 stars of foundry. This mission makes us realise that simple is sometimes best when creating a foundry mission, however this mission is far but simple. Exceptional designs and objective direction makes this one of my favourite classics next to Conjoined, Rise Of Darkness and Dead In Space. Even with current foundry bugs, this is one of the most bug free polished missions currently playable on Holodeck.
PROS: Great map design gives life to the story. Choose of maps and you direction on them makes this mission an exploration experience. Great groups of enemies for players who like a fast passed plot line. Tasks are not overwhelming and have a valid reason when advancing the plotline.
CONS: Once again foundry bugs were the only issues. Pathing of Boffs in Catacombs.
VERDICT: Can't wait to play the rest of the series. Have always visited these missions at various stages of development and this mission has me hoping to review the rest of the series. A perfect example of a good prelude to a crisis mission done by a professional with the foundry tool.

THOUGHTS:A prodigal Classic. This is a great STO mission. A couple of Pathing issues due to Foundry bugs, but otherwise excellent. |Gameplay 4|Trek 3|Difficulty 2.5|Grind 2.5|Design 4.5| Duke-of-Rock is an exceptional author.

I hope to see the rest of the series in this thread. Would love to play the 1st one as well.
NOTES : Couple of Boff pathing issues in the catacombs, but doesn't effect gameplay. Wander might need tweaking on the planet surface.

Hi Filbones,
Thanks for the review. I am humbled that you enjoyed the mission. At your request, here are the remaining episodes for your consideration. The remaining episodes each go their own direction while keeping with the story Arc. From the history of the Klingons involvement with the Medusik, to the need to seek out allies to fight the coming threat to the Galaxy. Part IV is my new favorite. I took it on a completely unexpected course for a discovery of Epic proportions. It is story heavy and combat light, but to cover the territory I breached, it required a good deal of explanation. I still enjoy putting a lot of time and effort into my map's scenery to make them visually pleasing and properly fitting the storyline. As I increased my foundry knowledge, I also was able to use shuttlecrafts in unique ways that you should like, as well as triggers and their uses. Each episode leads into the other, but have the ability to stand alone, with the intent of creating the player to desire to know what will happen next. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series as much as you did the pilot. Once again, thanks for reviewing it.
I am indeed honored. :)

"Perhaps the pinnacle achievement of all gaming history, this magnificent jewel eclipses the very idea of computer based entertainment in a supernova of absolute genius. Breathtaking scenery, depth and sensitivity to the Star Trek universe makes this mission the ultimate ambrosia, the nectar of the Gods, and the supreme achievement of all human kind. Cryptic would be insane not to employ this mission author.
I would have given it six stars, but you are not allowed to officially review your own work."

Additional Notes:
Part one was my very first attempt at making a mission. I started part one as a comedy mission, and this has seriously annoyed some players. Part two is serious with some strong elements of psychological drama. It starts with a brief synopsis of what has happened previously, and so is able to be played as an alternative starting point for this series if the players RP prevents them from having fun. :)

Hey, filbones.
Submitted for your review is my newest mission. Hope you enjoy it. The mission criteria is as follows:
Name: Respect For Your Elders
Author: Capt.PFDennis
Project ID: ST-HB7T73XL4
Level: 31+
Location: Starfleet Academy-602 Club
Length: Approximately 1 hour
Tags: Holodeck, Fed, Solo RP, Space Combat, Ground Combat
Description: You are asked to aid in tracking down the granddaughter of a famous Starfleet Admiral who has gone missing. The Admiral is due to arrive for a visit within 24 hours. You have until then to get her back to Earth, but you become entangled in more than a manhunt along the way.
Links: http://starbaseugc.com/index.php/ugcmissions/capt-pfdennis-presents-respect-for-your-elders/ and trailer only http://youtu.be/aG2lMqxO3M0
This mission started with my intention to change it up a little from my usual, sometimes heavy handed themes. I had always tried to tackle some moral dilemma. For this one, I wanted to lighten it up with a less serious plot and dialogue. Everytime I went through the NPC Contact list, I came across Jeffrey Scharf, the Bartender at the 602. I just had to find a reason to use him, so I did, setting him up as the person everybody in Starfleet knows. I had originally intended on having the player travel from planet to planet until finding the girl, but that idea began to feel tedious. Since I was watching a lot of Enterprise, at the time, I really liked the idea of using the Vulcan Forge and knew that I could reproduce a reasonable facsimile with the available assets. That was the basis for the skewed storyline. This mission has nothing to prove, but to have fun and get a few chuckles out of it. I hope I succeeded.
Off hand, I can't think of any bugs or flaws except maybe the ability to sink some of the large rock formations on the Forge map sufficiently underground because of the extreme changes in terrain of the base map. I could have chosen a flatter base map, but it would not have come off nearly as well. I attempted all settings i.e. Zero Altitude, Terrain, Geometry at minus elevations, to no avail. I'm fairly certain, unless you're looking for it, that it is not overly obvious. I also would have liked to have NPC's disappear, but it's not possible without trickery, which I had to do. I figured no review I have received could be worse than landerx74's "Boring and Dull", so why not? :)
Thanks, filbones.

Hey Guys sorry I haven't got around to playing these yet. But will very soon.
Main reason is I have been having trouble Respecting and configuring new builds for my toons. There for I haven't been able to play Foundry content at high ranks. The other reason is I have been busy working in collaboration with members on how we can infuse foundry content with enthusiasm for ftp members. STO is going through major changes as well as the foundry community towards them. Finally also most of my STO play has been committed to my foundry Machinima Project webseries as it will probably be used as my main assessment for my CERT 4 in Screen and Media. Thank you for your patients and I promise the wait will be worth it as most of your missions will be probably highlighted in Foundry Community features.
Cheers
and remember STO is in our hands. It's up to us to keep it alive.

LINKS : http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l485/Sovereign77x/DeadlyIntentionsBanner13.png
SYNOPSIS: A highly skilled Klingon scientist has mysteriously disappeared from Starfleet. Investigate this awol Klingon and chase his research across the galaxy while preventing it from falling into hands that may use it to change the balance of power throughout the galaxy.
ANALYSIS: This mission is simple with a complicated plot-line. Luckily most dialog is optional and you don't loose the objective of the mission by skipping any of it. The Author has taken allot of time to make sure you are directed properly. From information on how to interact with pop ups to instructions on how to skip puzzles or what objectives add more enemy NPC's. So much great direction that to a seasoned player, might be disgruntled about being taken away from the immersion, however understandable for the first mission of a series. Maps have great additions and details. So much that I thought I was still playing SW:TOR at one point. Once again pathing is the only design flaw with this mission.
PROS: Optional extras make for easy interaction with the story and objectives.
CONS: Enemy groups are too hard, especially when using a map with pathing issues.
VERDICT: A competent mission, however it doesn't hold it's own as just a prelude to a crisis. The mission isn't too long and believe playing the next one might be desirable for most players, however as a stand alone mission falls short and hinders on the potential of this well executed mission.

LINKS : http://starbaseugc.com/index.php/ugc...r-your-elders/ and trailer only http://youtu.be/aG2lMqxO3M0
SYNOPSIS: Chase a young attractive party girl half way across the quadrant. This young cadet has got her self into allot of trouble and you need to rescue her as well as secure a piace of valuable Vulcan heritage.
ANALYSIS: This mission is a silly one. Most enjoyable and well executed. As ridiculous as it may seem, there are many great elements and references to Trek Cannon to keep the plot thickening. Once again CaptPFDennis has out done himself with character development and easily executable objectives. Although dialog heavy, every bit is worthwhile. Well balanced combat as well as knowledge of Enemy NPC groups makes for great climactic battles.
PROS: Enjoyable humor makes for a refreshing playable mission. Maps are intriguing, pretty and environmentally immersible. Character familiarisation is consistent and helps you to become attached to the journey of each and every character.
CONS: If I was to find flaw in this mission, it would be the RPG elements and dialog heavy lingo, however as the style of this mission is set early it is hard to not enjoy these elements as a loyal foundry fanatic.
VERDICT: A must play for anyone looking to be re-motivated to play foundry missions. Reminiscent of the old beta silly missions, makes for a great nostalgic return to foundry being used by players for players to entertain and support Trek. This mission will have you wanting a squeal just to see the future of certain characters.

Thanks for the kind review, fil. It was a fun mission to make. I know that previous missions of mine could come out a bit heavy handed and dare I say, 'preachy" at times. lol. I am glad you enjoyed it and that the humor came through, even in the midst of a serious subplot. Guess I couldn't help myself. As for a sequel, well....you never know. LINKS :
SYNOPSIS: It is hard to give a brief without giving away the surprises.
ANALYSIS: Leviathon99 always has a style to his missions. This new addition is no exception. The style consists of always bringing to life a unique story with immersion in which uses the foundry to create an experience not found in any other aspect of STO. This mission will have most veteran authors peeing there pants with excitement as well as jealousy. Leviathon99 is an expert at advance dialogs, it is unfortunate and cheeky that you have to play this mission more than once to understand the situations you are playing out.
PROS: Exceptional character development and interaction. Unique mission experience competently executed. New use of triggers never seen in other missions. An eye for detail towards map environment and direction.
CONS: Certain lighting effects where unnecessary and disturbed my enjoyment of the mission. At no point does this mission prepare it's audience for what there about to play. NPC Groups were a little to hard for my poor warn out old VA Science officer.

LINKS :
SYNOPSIS: Investigate a wormhole and be thrown back in time to the dominion wars and work along side 7th fleet to return to your own dimension as well as prevent another from altering the past. A prelude to a crisis mission.
ANALYSIS: For a first mission this one is extraordinary. Still needs work and polish, but I do believe as the authors skill increases, so will the potential of this mission. Unfortunately due to the mission still needing more development I can't go into too much more detail other than the Cardassian dialog is great. If anything this author has probably captured kind of what I would like to see in Cryptics new DS9 series.
PROS: Excellent direction and balance towards story slash combat.
CONS: This mission has a couple of bugs. The spawn point trigger once already in it didn't work. There is more I'd like to go into, however only at the request of the author.

“Safeguards” By Attilio
TITLE : Safeguards

CODE : ST-HABZJUAMV
LEVEL : 30
LOCATION : Kinjer System, Sirius Sector
LENGTH : Approximately 45 minutes. Possibly less if you skip through the dialog.
TAGS : FED
DESCRIPTION : During a routine mission you uncover a plot to destroy the Federation. Lead the investigation in a mission which takes you across the known galaxy.
LINKS : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fJ9tRAuPxs
SYNOPSIS: Come on an adventure across the galaxy. Interact with the STO universe like never before seem in a foundry mission. A routine mission that takes you far beyond the stars.
ANALYSIS: A few to many Map Transitions for any foundry mission, but well worth it as you get to interact and visit so many known and not so known places. Enemy groups are great and fun to interact with as well as always advancing the plot-line. The story is quite simple, but the interaction and advancement within it is complex and long, making it feel slightly grindy for anyone not prepared to put in the time for this sort of mission. The scale and detail of maps also follows this philosophy and all though I dare not say it, I wish there was more environmental and custom map optional material. As a VA this mission is relatively easy. Transwarp is vital to this mission and is it's only down flaw. I would much like to see a prequel with the villains within this mission.
PROS: Great Custom maps and story board design.
CONS: To many Map Transitions.
VERDICT: An amazing mission filled with adventure and intrigue. Comfortable play and easy to follow directions makes this mission well sort after amongst the foundry community.
RANKINGS
GAMPLAY - 3.5

THOUGHTS: OMG Yes! An adventure mission of epic proportions. Allot of map transitions, but worth it for the over all feeling of having been on an amazing journey.

filbones,
Thanks for the positive review, and for the banner! I'm glad you enjoyed playing the mission. This was my first Foundry mission, and I had a fun (and educational) time building it. I can't tell you how many times my Test Character died tweaking the mission difficulty -- I considered it a worthy sacrifice on his part. LOL
I hope you'll give my next missions a try and let me know what you think.
Thanks again!

DESCRIPTION : You are recalled to Earth Spacedock after one of your crew on shore leave is murdered. Evidence points to another one of your crew being responsible. As you investigate the murder, discover a wider conflict that threatens the stability of the Federation.
LINKS : http://starbaseugc.com/index.php/tra...ate-civil-war/
SYNOPSIS: Investigate the death of an officer and uncover the mysteries towards his murderers disappearance.
ANALYSIS: This is exceptionally fun. Call me Poirot. The mechanics have been keep-ed simple, but make for intriguing gamplay as they are disguised as being quite complex. Dialog is worthwhile and offers hints to future puzzles in which you don't even realise you have memorised. Characters are interactive and make for a comfortable mission as the dialog is not forced. Every map has something unique and not used in any other foundry mission to date. Very original in concepts and is not a carbon copy of any cryptic content which is refreshing. All combat is crucial to the story and adds to the pace of the mission.
PROS: Excellent immersion and simple to follow plotline. Characters are easy to connect with and add depth to the story with every bit of dialog. Direction is probably the best thing about this mission as you hardly find yourself looking at the objectives list.
CONS: Ground combat is hard to manage due to tight spaces and threat distance of NPC groups. Last map is difficult to navigate as it has no planets or stars to reference.
VERDICT: A simple plot line with great story dialog. Great pace and length of the mission make for an overall easy play through.
RANKINGS
GAMPLAY - 4
TREK - 3
DESIGN - 3
DIFFICULTY – 2
GRIND – 1

THOUGHTS: A great fun quick foundry mission. Gameplay 4 Trek 3 Difficulty 2 Design 2.5 Grind 1. Well executed simplistic story. Really enjoyed.
