The content has been so slow in coming. If the Dev's have been working on that (probably per managements orders) that would explain why the new stuff seems to be coming in at a snails pace. Not that it was fast before but I think it was a tad faster than the rate it's going now.

The Content has been slow -mostly- due to the PW buyout from Atari. Plenty of other threads explaining it. :)

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not... but if you're NOT, then it is DEFINITELY this.
It explains quite a bit of why they haven't been able to work on more content for the game. They've been prepping for the conversion. That takes TIME.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I just figured it would certainly explain why everything got so tight lipped all of the sudden. I should have realized it sooner having worked for companies in the past that were either bought out or bought someone out.

Season 4 in a snapshot:
A rebuild of the Fed tutorial to take place at the Academy.
A Klingon version tutorial where the Klingons start at level 1.
Klingons gaining access to most all sectors of the Galaxy. This will allow for a quick spin-up of content based on the Fed missions and patrols but from a Klingon point of view.
Plans to flesh out the Klingon ship tiers...and add in some lower level ships with hangars.
DOff system brings with it the Klingon version of Diplomacy - Marauding
A revamp of the currency systems in game.
Quite a lot to changes to the game "just to add some new content" "just to bring Klingons closer to Feds in amount of content"...
Stay tuned next week for the official words with detailed plans. :)

Funny but I thought the exact same thing when I heard STO was going F2P lol.
