My favorite character is an orion who flies carriers, so couldn't be happier. I hope these aren't low tier ships.

Then again, Guramba is a terrible ship, and I'm not too keen on Orion cruiser except for the looks either. Klingon record is not so hot on store ship front.

I hope they will be low tier ships as that means the time spent leveling up you can have other then Klingon ships to fly. We already have endgame ships for the Orion, Nausicaan and Gorn. Would be nice to have some earlier too.

I hope they will be low tier ships as that means the time spent leveling up you can have other then Klingon ships to fly. We already have endgame ships for the Orion, Nausicaan and Gorn. Would be nice to have some earlier too.

I woud second this.

It would have been nice levelling my non klingons if I had been able to do so without the need for using a klingon ship. i.e an orions levelling using all orion ships etc..

I imagine it will happen in time as ever, however.

Hey Heretic, will these CMDR and CAPT level ships run the same gambit as the Venture and Vor'Kang, as in they unlock skins to use on later ships? I'm thinking strictly of the Gran Hippo, of course...

I do not believe these unlock skins usable for later tier ships, at least not at this point. Captain Logan would know for sure, though.

The Nausicaan ships, why aren't they using the existing artwork? The Pico Distress Call mission has 3 ships they could immediately work from, the Destroyer Escort, which looks like a Naussican take on the Defiant, the Siphon Frigate, and a Battleship (whose name escapes me... Talon?) that looks like a huger version of the Grumbah.

Yes, I don't know why they can't make those ships available as well. Sure they might have to rework them to give them more details but that should be enough.

Lethean bridge officers...yes. And, they can get the Efficient trait.

We've talked about Lethean ships, but there are no plans for them in the immediate future; we're still up to our eyeballs with the current set. Things can always change, however.

These are reskinned version of the Nausican Siphon frigates.
Think of them as Refits of the Siphons, repurposed to Escorts.
They are still the same basic design, just much prettier.

I would LOVE a nausican Talon Battleship refit btw Logan! ;)

Interesting discovery on Tribble's Foundry.

There are three duplicate listings for a "Dragas (Draguas?) Fleet Science Vessel" when creating a ship costume. One of the new Gorn ships I would assume.

Cool, so these new Orion ships doesn't seem to have the same hull color as the Marauder does.

Which leads me to ask a few questions on that topic:

Does this mean that the Marauder will finally get more hull colors to choose from too?

Or are the images using some other color setting and they are in fact the same color as the Marauder?

Or do the new ships have two hull colors and one of them are like the Marauder color?

Will the Marauder engine trails be fixed at the same time these are launched?

Will there be possible to use hull patterns on these ships and the Marauder after this is released?
