I have several dozen old messages, but none new.
The mail icon keeps blinking.

It certainly does...one message..that I´ve deleted since and Blink Blink Blink..... it´s maddening. :mad::D

I can confirm I have the same issue as well when I have no mail of any kind in there.

Same issue. It doesn't always blink, either. Seems fairly random.

The blinking is getting a bit obnoxious (even though if it were accurately indicating new mail it would be a nice change). The little sound that you've received new mail constantly going off is quite annoying too.

Try going into your mailbox via the Website... if there is anything in there, delete it... seems to have worked for me!

Yep, and it gets worse....You can now send, and receive mail Between: F2P Tribble, Redshirt Tribble, Holodeck, and Forum. Items are not swappable between these, but mail now goes freely from place to place. If you posted a sale item on Exchange on F2P, but have moved back to Holodeck, you will get the alert of Expired Item, then have to figure out which server, and which Toon.

Try going into your mailbox via the Website... if there is anything in there, delete it... seems to have worked for me!
If the mail is for Returned Items on the Exchange, that would Loose them for you. :eek:

That is correct... one way to get around that would be to go to a mail station in-game, claim any items that are being returned; then log out and delete the mail per my original post.
For my part, if this continues to work... I would HAPPILY give up a returned item or two to get rid of that god-awful blinking! ;)
