Friendly ships

Hi there. I'm wondering how you get friendly ships to attack enemy ships? I can't seem to find how to do that. When I use encounters, the "friendly" ships show up as enemies. When I use contacts they just won't fight at all.

What I'm working on is having a group of Romulans attack a group of Undine and NOT attack you after they're done with the Undine. I've seen things like this before, I've just never figured them out.

This an be done, though possibly not to the effect you want. What you would need to make one group friendly ie.the rommie feds and the other side van be undine. Once you have tour feds on the map, click each actor and change the skin to that of a romulan ship. The part that doesn't work for this is that you now have rommies using phasers and photorps. There are no real other ways to do his or change weapon types.
