Hello,

I'd like to first thank you for taking the time to read this, you and your fellow co-workers work very hard to make this game excellent for we players. The new armor awards put into the game are nigh impossible to attain in their entirety, veteran players have tried their utmost to get the full set since the new armor has been released, and next to none have gotten it. The desire for the armor sets stems not from their abilities or stat bonuses, but from the artful and unique look of the different armors.

There are those that would say this is complaining, or whining, but I am doing no such thing, I am taking action, trying to change a small inequality in a great game. I have talked to many a player, and read quite a few discontented comments from members on the forums; as such I presumed as much to refer to the entire player base throughout the content of this message.

Players have fallen in love with these armor sets that you and your team (cryptic as a whole) have given to us, yet players cannot have the satisfaction of wearing the full piece. It is akin to dangling food just out of reach of a starving individual, think of Tantalus in mythology. Many on the forums have voiced their discontent with the inability to get these sets of armor as well, it is not so much as players wanting something cool right away; for both the incomplete sets take a wile to get and players are content to work hard to get them, but it is instead the fact that players can't conceivably see a time when they can get the final set, for it is left entirely to chance. Players are more than willing to put in the hours and effort to get the armor, they are hesitant however, to play fruitlessly for months; to never see a reward for their hard work, while other players who were lucky got what they needed immediately.

To this I submit that the full set of armor for every kit; Honor Guard, Omega Force, and M.A.C.O be made available at mark 11, the veteran equivalent. NPCs have already been put into the game with the name of Omega Force, or M.A.C.O, veteran; so to make this swich would not be a terrible change. Mark 12 gear can be improved as needed to suit it's extreme rarity and any preceding sets can be changed accordingly.

The player base asks only to wear such great armor, they are wonderful additions to the STO world, and it is only fitting that they actually appear in the game on the backs of it's players.

Again thank you very much for your time, I ask only that the aforementioned request be considered and not dropped at the end of this letter.

Thank You,

BastImret
