Yeah this has happened to me quite a lot lately. I finish a doff mission and it shows a rare or above doff in the rewards and I check to see my new slaves and ...They are common... this has happened way to much to me lately. that's the best tech description I can give. Any idea what Is wrong?

thanks.

Which assignments specifically are you seeing duty officer rewards without a generic icon in?

What was (and apparently still is, in some case) happening is that the actual reward isn't rolled for until you turn in the assignment, so the system guesses. We made a tech change to replace random instances with a generic icon, but it sounds like under some conditions this isn't happening for some reason.

I've had it happen on the department-based recruiting missions, like "Tactical/Security" or even the Klingon "Call to House Honor" one. They all seem to show up in the Completed list with portraits instead of the generic DOff graphic.

Heretic,

This is always happening with the 2 DOFF (3 for Critical Success) Recruitment assignments with either faction. I wrote a bug report about this a while ago so I had thought you knew about this. Like I said it has been any mission that shows the faces of the DOFF's, but happens the most with the 2 day recruitment assignments. It looks like the system is grabbing the DOFF's for the icon, but not holding on to them until after the person clicks the rewards button.

Thanks!

It's happened at least twice to me, that I looked ahead of time.

It showed a purple doff reward on missions with a Critical Success, but when I click to receive the reward, no purples.

And as far as guessing... it must do an actual roll twice because when it "guesses" it even gives you the names of the officers you're not going to get.

(And it's not just with purples, actually, since I can see the names and faces... it does this with all the doff "rewards" that I know of.)

Yep, I've had multiple purples, blues, and greens from successes and critical successes all turn out white when I actually got them. :(

honestly the generic icons are annoying as hell, i liked it 100 times better on Tribble when i could see what i would get without doing a mouse over.

at least make different icons for different categories, thx

I stopped mousing over them a while ago. I noticed every time i moused over the icons i got a different result.

I got a critical success on a recruitment mission which showed a green and two whites as rewards, but gave 3 whites instead.
