Tier 1, 2, and 3 DOff Rewards Have Become Unslotable.

I've checked on two of my characters, and no matter what the assignment is, I can not slot my Tribble Test Reward DOffs because they've become unslotable, but I could earlier. I've just taken the Tactical Exocomp off a completed assignment for example, but now I can't assign it to another of any type.

By using the search filter while assigning DOffs to an assignment I can also see that some of my common DOffs have become unslotable.

Can anyone else check to see if they have this issue please? All you have to do is find an assignment that you can normally assign a DOff to, click Plan Assignment, click Display Entire Reserve Roster and then click the arrow under Filter at the top of the UI. Then click the status filter drop down button, select unslotable and the DOffs you can normally assign will show up, but you still can not assign them to any assignments.

I double checked, I have 62 DOffs in total on the toon logged in as I type, 5 on assignment which leaves 57. So I found an assignment that I could assign "Any Officer" to, clicked display entire reserve roster and counted 54 DOffs so it's only the tier 1, 2, and 3 Tribble test rewards that seem effected.

Known issue. Fix is in the pipeline. We closed an exploit, and in so doing revealed a completely bizarre one-line of code bug.

I am having the same issue...I cannot assign my Tribble Server Reward DO's to any missions either; although I had previously done so, they no longer appear under anything other than unslottable and will not "assig" to any mission slot whatsoever.

Cheers, thought it was a bug only effecting my account after I asked others if they were experiencing the same issue and I couldn't find anyone who was. For example 10m after I posted this someone in chat said they'd just sent their Tactical Exocomp on the Snow Ball Fight assignment, unless they were mistaken and sent their Engineering Exocomp, I dunno...

Is there a status update on this? I have purchased two DOffs for "very rare" assignments in the past 24 hours and neither are usable. They are on the DOff list as on reserve but can't be assigned. If you mouse hover on "put on active space duty", the popup states the officer is on assignment. I've lost two opportunities for these very rare assignments and potentially 4M credits.

This sounds like a different issue.

Could you provide some more specifics?

1. What faction are you?
2. What are the names, species, specializations and genders of the affected duty officers?
3. On your current assignments list, do they show up as assigned to any of the actively processing assignments?

Sure. Faction is Federation and no, they do not show up as assigned to anything. I bought them but never had the opportunity to put them to use. I think I have a grasp of what caused the issue....

While in the Exchange, I opened the DOff available assignments window so I could see what traits were needed for purple. In both cases I had clicked Plan Assignment and then moved the Exchange window to the foreground and eventually made a purchase. Both of the DOffs I had purchased were immediately unavailable as stated in my earlier post. I purchased another DOff later on but this time I made sure I cancelled out of the Plan Assignment action first. That officer became immediately available to me.

I'd try to verify this again but it's getting expensive. :)

Btw, the two DOffs not available to me are:

Thatathin - Energy Weapons Officer - Space (Gorn - Male)
Voxah - Energy Weapons Officer - Space (Klingon - Female)

What are my options here? I'd hate to think I just threw away 4M credits....

Federation players cannot use KDF personnel, and vice-versa. We are working on better ways to communicate this in the Exchange UI (which deserves a thread all on its own). If you don't have a KDF alt, I would recommend putting the duty officers in question back onto the Exchange to recoup the cost.
