As Star Craft came out about 25+ years after the Klingon ship style was firmly established, I don't know if we are accusing the correct group of copying.
When I see that Star Craft ship, the first thing I thought was "Ohh, Klingons!"

wow. Blizzard stole the design of a Star Trek ship?
CBS doesn't realize how blatant it is since it is decades later?

For anyone wondering, The two are still different enough that it won't incur a copyright violation for either party.

The point stands that if you compare the original D7 with the Battlecruiser from Starcraft 1, there are nowhere near enough similarities to point at a 'misappropriation'.
Infact... Here's one of Mat Jefferies' original concepts of NCC-1701. (http://www.starshipdatalink.net/art/images/de-7.gif) I leave it to you to work out where the D7 profile likely came from.
The hammer head on Klingon ships never used to be this pronounced. The Bortas is very clearly a departure from the "Diamondhead" norms of the past, and the devil is in the detail.
From the arrangement of the cannons forward, to the down-slope of the wings, the engineering hull profile, neck and hammerhead, the Bortas clearly has far more in common with the Behemoth class from Starcraft than it does with the D7.
Can I unequivocally say that the Starcraft battlecruiser 'borrowed' from the Klingons? Of course not. But if you compare it to the original 1997 Terran battlecruiser (http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs32/f/2008/233/c/b/Starcraft_Battlecruiser_by_Lwerewolf.jpg) it becomes a very long bow to suggest Blizzard ripped off Star Trek.
I've worked in CGI and Animation long enough to know how this game works. Logan says he never played Starcraft, that's fine - I believe him. But you cannot work in the professional CGI industry without being ignorant of what your peers in other companies are doing. The Starcraft Battlecruiser is iconic enough in the gaming industry to say Logan should have at least ways been aware of its design.
So please, people... before you start accusing one or the other of 'ripping off' this, that, or whatever... make sure you know the design backgrounds.

Ummm you missed something! *grin*
Logan put up two images. The image linked by the OP is the craft in its ready to dock configuration. (or just undocked before deploying the wings.) DDude has got starcraft on the brain there.. if the SC wraith looks like anything its the B-wing from starwars
Thats the Bortas aux craft with wings folded. It's essentially a small Bird of prey.
I posted else where, but we have the Vulcan D'kyr with its auxillury science ship.. (crew 25.. definatly bigger then a shuttle!) The KDF ship should be heavy on the tactical, hightly manuverable and pretty hevily armed.. The aaaux craft on the new feddy flagship will likely be and engineering aux craft..

Well I'm not accusing anyone, I was asking a legitimate question if it was a homage, just how the Nanopulse melee weapons were homages to SWTOR.

Mav, wasn't really directed at you mate. But the similarities are striking.

While there are similarities in the heads of the ship, the Bortas was based on the Negh'Var... and that Terran ship does look vaguely similar to a Negh'Var.

that starcraft ship actually looks better

Since Starcraft is basically a rip-off of Warhammer 40,000, which ripped off elements of Starship Troopers, this thread is pretty much pointless. Everyone inspires everybody. Original ideas are rare, especially in the games industry.

It's more likely in homage to this ship: http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Fek%27lhr_class
