Missing Excelsior console.

As 12/1/2011's patch, Excelsior should come with a universal console called "Advanced Transwarp Drive Coil" that provide bonus to engine/energy weapon/aux/shield performance. Appearantly that console is missing, me alone with couple of other players purchased the excelsior recently (all within 1 week) found that there is no console given by an excelsior. Tried discarding the ship and re-claim it thru c-store, still no console. GM please take a look into this please, thank you very much!

They decided the console on the T5 excelsior was a bad idea and went back to just having integrated transwarp. This was not actually mentioned in any patch notes, so it's understandable you're confused.

Well, in that case they should fix the ship store pages, at this moment, both the "Ship and shuttle requistion NPC" and "c-store" are wrong. "Ship and Shuttle requistion NPC" page show the ship come with the console, "c-store" page show the ship come with the ability but the ability provide the passive bonus (which it doesn't). For those people (like myself) that spend $20 bucks on this ship and expecting something that is not there anymore, we consider this to be false advertisement more than just simple typo or "forget to update that page" excuse.

I recently bought an Excelsior. The transwarp console is integrated. To activate it, click "Transwarp", the vortex-shaped icon on the left-hand side of your minimap.

please read the original post and replies first. I never said anything about the transwarp function, we are talking about the +stats bonus here.

When you buy the T5 excelsior you also get a T3 excelsior. Check that one.

Ran into this too back when they first added these consoles. I was running the c-store T5 excelsior and didn't get a console, someone suggested check the T3 in shipyard, and there it was, sitting in an engineering console slot.

Wait, what's this? I bought the T5 Excelsior last year before the T3 refit existed and I certainly can't claim the latter. So people who buy a T5 Excelsior now also get the T3 refit as well? And existing owners weren't grandfathered in?

Edit: Reading back through old threads I now see what happened. So no, people that buy a T5 Excelsior do not get a T3 refit as well.

They are different console, the T3 one is call "Transwarp Drive Coil" (now rename to "Transwarp Computer), it give 23 to warp core eff. The one for Excelsior (T5) is call "ADVANCED Transwarp Drive Coil", it give +7.6 to engine/energy weapon/shield/aux performance. The T3 one are always there and working fine, it is the T5 (advanced) one is missing.

Is t3 Transwarp Console usable on escorts? I am looking for some power improvements for my Adv Escort :)
