Can't Search in Game

I can't search in the game. I first discovered this when dragging items into the Exchange so I could find prices. But when I hit "Search" it doesn't do anything. The Search button even recharges, but absolutely nothing comes up.

I went under "Report a Bug" and tried to use the search in there as well. Nothing. No matter what word(s) I used, nothing came up either. So I am assuming it is the search mechanism itself, not just the Exchange.

I tried to report the bug three times. The first two said they generated tickets, but neither one appeared in "My Tickets". Finally I tried to contact a GM, but that didn't do anything either. Frankly I am beyond frustrated. My inventory is piling up because I can't sell anything on the Exchange, and I'm not about to sell them to NPCs because you get diddly squat in the way of money.

If anyone has had this issue and knows how to fix it, or at least knows who I can contact to get it fixed, please let me know.

One final thing. Everything worked fine yesterday. I believe the patch this morning is what screwed it up.

Yes, Exchange Search is the latest thing to have been broken over the last few days...

It has been bugged since the "emergency maintenance".

In order to search, you must now add a filter. Meaning that to search for phaser, you now have to select a quality and not "any quality".

A lot of mess-ups these last few days.

Sigh.. I wrote up a bug for this, copied the bug number and then logged out before pasting it. >_<

Sorry Fark and/or Zero.

I found that adding a Rank filter works to get search functioning, but it's a lot less convenient than using a quality filter, thanks for the tip lydonb.


-edit- Also this was broken for me before the emergency downtime. It happened when I logged in a few hours before the downtime (and of course now persists after the downtime).
