This topic was originally posted here (http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=244712) a couple months ago, but that thread is out-dated, so I'm opening a new one (don't want to res a zombie):
The Rank 3 Recruitment Commendation for the DOff system is the Accolade "Recruiter", which grants the title "Recruiter". The title "Recruiter" was already awarded as part of the Refer-a-Friend promotion (http://www.startrekonline.com/referral) to those who got a friend to play STO and maintain a 1 month subscription.

Heretic did reply then:

Known issue. It's on the list of things to look at.

This morning I made it to T3 Recruitment and now have "Recruiter" showing twice on my available titles list.

If finding a new title is the problem. Might I suggest:

Admissions Manager/Officer
Muster Commander
Personnel Chief
Roll Monitor
Talent Aquisitioner (my favorite)
Vocationist

No pressure. Just looking for an update on the situation.

Thats also an issue when reaching max DXP... Some of us who pre-ordered had the Ambassador title already, so when this was added... I am pretty sure I have it twice too.

I could have sworn the Title for Diplomacy T4 was "Federation Ambassador" not simply "Ambassador."

Lifetime member checking in after like 4 months, since the game went free to play, I guess there isn't a referral program any longer? I had referred friends before, and have the title Master Recruiter as well as the Galaxy X, but was wondering if it (the program) was still around and if there were anymore benefits to it?

I wonder, is there any update on this issue?

There is no update to this issue, as we've been focusing on much hotter issues. To be honest, I am not even sure it is worth fixing this since I don't believe the old title can even be gotten anymore, which makes it an annoying legacy issue only.

Part of the issue is also that I really don't want to change the title for the Recruitment category, given that that is the name of the category.

:D

No worries then. I'll not bring this one up again.

How about "Headhunter"?

Here's my suggestion:

Create a new accolade that checks for the old accolade and gives the title of Command Career Counselor.

That's a type of recruitment position in the Navy for someone who handles career development and planning for existing sailors.
