can anyone help me with mapping powers?

Hi,

I need some help. I am fed up with having to re-arrange my powers every time i change ship or move a console. Is there a way to set up my powers as i like them then save them so when i load that ship again i can load the powers? I know you can save keybinds but am not sure how or even if it will do what i want?

basically i want to be able to switch between my ships then quickly re-apply my powers to the correct keys. Will saving keybinds to a file cure this? If so how?

Could some one talk me though saving my keybinds to a file and also how to load my keybinds after? I have concentrated on using my Multi Vector Advanced Escort & my Dreadnought Cruiser and have trained up my bridge officers for each ship. So now i just need to sort out my powers so i dont have to manually arrange them in the tray every time i change.

As far as I know, there is no way to save you power tray for each ship. Would be nice though. Hint, Hint, wink, wink Cryptic. ;)

Supposedly it automatically saves. When you switch to your old ship, if you put the bridge officers in their original stations, the abilities should go into the original locations in your shortcut tray.

Ok, so for now i have just got to manually re-assign my powers to the right tray slots each time i change ship, yes?

I have tried making sure my officers are in the same station each time i change ship but the powers never seem to come back as they were, it seems that when i changbe ship and then have to re-setup my powers for that ship it then completely changes every thing when i try to go back to my previous ship.

Oh well it was worth asking, maybe the Devs will make this a feature of a future release! hint hint all you devs.
