I tested this on tribble. Equipped on KDF, of course no armor is visible as is the norm. I mailed the armor to a fed toon, and it just looked like normal armor.

I certainly hope not, kdf doesn't just need more content, it needs UNIQUE content.

Why not just play the mission on your KDF toon, then mail the loot to yourself?

I'm surprised that the rewards aren't bind on pickup like other mission rewards eg Overcharged Plasma Sniper Rifle, is this working as intended? If so when can the KDF expect new toys mailed from their Federation counterparts?

They're prolly not Bind on Pickup for the reasons stated before, to sell to Fed Players for ungodly prices because they're too lazy to make a KDF toon. Much like how Klinks would sell Bat'leths on the exchange until mishes came out where Feds could get them.

I myself, I'm glad the KDF is getting more content and hope more appears for them, after all the lies and broken promises they deserve a fair shot.

I played the mission on Tribble It's very fun. There's a certain mini-game you have to do a number of times that could have used a tutorial, but once I screwed up a few times I got the hold of it. Also It didn't credit me for the mission completion so you might wanna check on that. But otherwise. I REALLY liked this mission.

Andoria is a habitable moon, but the description in this blog seems to imply that the planet in question is in an orbit close in radius from its sun to that of the giant planet, rather than being in orbit of the giant planet.

ASSUMING i'm not plagued by another torturefest of lag, skips, screen freezes and disconnects, i'll be lucky to get Kor Jag thru the 2800 for the Jem'Hadar Tactical BOff and the Space Set on Friday night, let alone grind to Captain/Lv 30.

So ASSUMING the Event Calendar & KDF vs. Terran Empire are working for the next three weeks, i should be able to start Alpha sometime around the start of Season 6.

i better not hold my breath...

FYI, Craptyc, i'm still mad as HELL...

Are you sure you can mail both items to the fed character? While it does make sense due to Cryptic's apparent policy of making mission rewards obtainable for either faction, I feel like this may, sadly, end up differently.

Nonetheless, I look forward to the mission, and now have yet another reason to urge Cryptic to make it possible to change career, even if only via C-Store :)

GIVE US CAREER CHANGES!

All i can say is. Thank you! im very curious as to what we'll discover on Alpha and the chance to act out the fact that my KDF klingon values Honor above all else will be absolutely amazing. I do hope there arent to many people fed side who will rage about this only being available for Klingons.

The FE left me thinking that the Devs in general see the KDF as a bunch of thugs and nothing else. But from what ive read about it in the blog its clear that there are some of you Devs out there that value the Klingon culture.

Thank you again!

Didn't you know?
This game is actually set in the Mirror Universe.
The Feds are trigger happy (Treasure Trading Station) war criminals (Divide et Impera) and the Klingons are just thugs.

PS: that bird of prey wreckage in the screenshot looks suspiciously identical to the Bird of Prey wreckage from the last DS9 FE Mission.

PPS: is the Hirogen gun a REPLICA from the Series or just another Named but 0815 Copy&Paste STO Art Asset? hmmm...

Just goes to show how desperate you people are when you go all bananas over a single mission that will probably at most take 30 minutes to finish then right back to the same nothing we have had.

Yeah sorry but it will take much much more than a single mission to get me excited over anything on the Klingon side given the track record so far.

If Cryptic can prove me wrong and not just with lip service saying they are planning content but actually release more on a steady basis for Klingons then that would be great,I simply am not going to get excited until they do this.

Only then will I say that maybe things are looking up for the Klingon side.

Uh yea ground pvp really needed more stealth... its not like there wasn't already more then 3 ways to stack stealth way above _any_ (even with all buffs and traits!) perception levels for the ultimate undetectable supercloak. *facepalm*

Nice job on the quest though and adding something for klingons is definitely a good thing.. but more stealth is really the worst thing that could be added to ground.. uncounterable one-shots out of perfect stealth are not improving the quality of ground pvp and are not really trek either.

QFT *hint*Cryptic*
The Klingon side has few missions and ships, and new players can't start off with a KDF character. Maybe because the Powers That Be decide that Klingons are the mostly PvP side and we have to master PvE first.

But I'm still looking forward to Alpha, as long as it's more complex than the regular quest missions that are a straight line through from one objective to another.

I can't seem to do the 'Alpha' mission. It's ghosted out and I can't click the Hail button. Its at the top of the Romulan list of Episodes, the others in that catagory are all complete. I am LG(50) so as far as I see I should have access to this mission.

I tried asking in Zone chat, but they were as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

The tooltip doesn't explain what I need to do to unlock this mission.

Please help!

EDIT: The mission is catagorized wrong. You have to complete or skip all the Fek'Ihri mission first to unlock this one. This is awful work, it should be clearer on what is needed to do it.

AGREED. Yes it's a new mission out of the blue, yes thats good and yes we're all thankful, but thats exactly what it is. A mission. Give me half a rank's worth of Klink content every 3 months and we'd have a finished Klink faction in 12 months time, THEN i'll woops and cheer. As I say, it's nice. But c'mon people.
