Norway Class Starship

I'm kind of wondering why we don't have a classic ship the the norway class in game. after all like the defient The norway defended earth against the borg. If we did have the norway (or a beefed up Saber class) i would would be flying those. That might even level the playing field for pvp adding 2 new escort ships

I thought the Norway was in the game.

I thought it was called the Oslo and is a Tier 3 Escort, of course I'd take the Akira over it.
I thought the Zephyr was the Steamrunner too.

But looking at the general shape of the ships you can see that the Norway influenced the Oslo as did the Steamrunner influence the Zephyr.

And near enough is probably good enough for most people.

For most people, perhaps, but the Oslo's hull just looks... wrong. It angles far too far upwards. Of course, the saucer looks awesome on most configurations aside from looking like a face in aft view...

The playing field's already level with one more KDF escort at tier 3 and 4, and two more Fed escorts at endgame, which arguably, is more useful. Norways are cool though.

Come to think of it, take the mission pod off a Nimbus and it sort of looks like a bulky Norway...

I thought the Norway was a Sci ship (no expert here)

Would it be better as a T5 Sci/Tac Hyrbrid? Like an Excelsior but swap out Engineering for Science.

I very much like the idea of a Fed Sci vessel that can mount and use DHC's. Since everything Klingon but the Bortasqu & Vo'Quv can. And don't say Gorn they aren't Klingon even though they are KDF.

The Norway was more like an escort much like the Akira.

Yes, the Oslo is a Norway facimalie, just as the Zepher is suppose to be the Steamrunner. I hate both. I want the Norway and Steamrunner. The Norway was more spade shaped than the Oslo, and the Zepher was more elongated like the Galaxy rather the circular Zepher. Also, the Norway was smother than the Osla, and the Steamrunner was more jagged than the Zepher. I would like to see the two original ships added, and a Tier 5 ship that uses all 6 skins.

If we got the Steamrunner Class, then it is just fair to have the Norway Class too. Both were seen in Star Trek: First Contact. The Norway Class would be a good addition to the game too.
