Vs Borg Melee weapons?

So I was looking around for that old Vs Borg Bat'leth (from WAAAY back) and I couldn't find it.

Anyone know where there are any Vs Borg Melee weapons around? Either that old Bat'leth or some new ones with the new vs Borg modifier?

From what I know, all the weapons with the [borg] modifier are bind on equip. I wouldn't know. I'm interested as to what others have to say, however. I wouldn't mind having a bit of extra damage against borg with my bat'leth.

Some sort of electric taser blade to short circuit the hapless drones! I want that!

You can melee for extra damage against the Borg. When you rifle butt them it does appear the [borg] proc activates making hand to hand rather fun with all the plasma explosions when I whack them with my shotgun!

Its fun to use the moves from the tactical kit "close combat specialist" on them, thats for sure lol Altough a "Laser bat"leth" or something like that would be nice to see ingame just to fight the borg. But that would be too starwars probably :X

Seems it got lost in the revamp. It used to be tossed on the bottom of the ground AP weapons vendor list.

I miss it (used to give the queen hell with it).

exists since the 20th december 2011, but is not obtainable anymore.

was a promotional item for the swtor launch.

btw, highest melee dps weapon, but has a problem: borg adapt to the plasma blades.

I totally agree. I hit upon this by accident a little while ago when I found myself facing a flock of borg and forgot remodulators. Now I'm all about running in with the close combat kit (the flying-feet-to-the-head move is excellent) and the Sword of Kahless. It really feels like a Klingon way to deal with the buggers.

Just felt like throwing my two cents in here: my primary character is a Level 50 Orion female, and my go-to weapon for the Borg is the Shard Sword of Kahless; I'll toss a grenade into a group of drones, then wade in swinging left and right. The Borg can't do jack in melee range and I can hack them to pieces at my leisure. Really can't say what the Feds could use in place of that, though I suppose a melee strike with a phaser rifle would do just as well. I honestly found that I stopped caring about/playing my Starfleet captain ater I made my KDF toon, so I can't even remember what kind of melee weapons that get.

Just rifle butt using a [borg] weapon, you get extra kinetic damage and an enormous plasma explosion per hit (or at least my pulsewave rifle butt generates that explosion). They never do adapt to the extra kinetic damage.

Last I was aware, the ground equpiment vendor in Battle Group Omega had a anti-Borg Bat'leth. Has it been removed? There should also be the options to purchase an anit-Borg Bat'leth, Lipira, Naus Sorwd, and Tsukinte blades. For Dilithium and/or 1 rare Borg salvage.

It wasn't so much "removed" as it was "misplaced".

It used to be (incorrectly) stuffed under AP space weapons in the battle group vendor. When they moved everything to DS9, whoever did the move likely didn't notice it or didn't see where to place it.

It wasn't "uber" or anything, but it's a shame to see good content/items simply get lost.

I agree, it must have been misplaced. It is also like the science Borg analyzer kit. Have not seen one drop since November. I have both,, the Batleth was bind on pick up and was the easiest ways to defeat Armek prior to the ruining of the STFs.

That would be cool like something you throw at them (like a little box) and shocks them and they fall to the ground in a spasm. I know its never going to happen though.

I'm thinking that a boom box playing old 70's tunes by Barry Manilow and Neil Sedaka would have much the same effect.
