Cant log onto server

I am trying to log onto the server after activating my preorder key and downloading/installing the game. I get the following error msg:
You are not allowed to log onto the server at this time.

Is this normal or do i have a problem.

I believe you need to use the same account info that you use for the STO website login.

Confirmed. Cryptic only uses one account for all of their stuff. If you have Champions you can use that account.

Yes, wen you life in GMT == UTC than starts the open beta by you on 18:00
because the time is UTC or GTM center. 0
PST is -8

then that means u are entering the wrong login and pw

the launcher should now launch the game, but the game should deny you access to the server

Possibility: Your user name and password isn't in the list of allowed users yet?

No idea how their network architecture works (would love to see a diagram of this btw) but all the keys being entered today are flagging each of our accounts as allowed users of the host server. Our login data needs to be copied from the web/forum database to the game server database so it has a list of users to work from.
I'm guess not all of that is copied over yet. So that could explain a difference in message.
The "not allowed" indicates you are in the system, but not allowed to connect yet (for whatever reason), and the "incorrect yada yada" indicates the lack of any user data. Or something like that.:D

I would think all of this happens near instantly... but god knows what's happening on cryptics end right now.
As testers we are sort of working half blind. Cryptic knows what's going on on their end, and we are telling them what's happening on our end.... so really the only ones with the full picture are cryptic.

I have a concern; I witnessed one of my friends attempt to login and he had not registered a beta key. He got the denied access to launcher error.

Another friend who registered a few days ago can get all the way into the game where it says login is not allowed.

I registered my key today and am getting invalid username / password. This is the same account I use to login to startrekonline.com.

I'll wait till tomorrow to register a ticket though...
