It seems that the patcher is patching version ST.0.20100108b.10,but the game has ST.0.20100108a.1 as version after launching

Run a force-verify and it should fix itself.

So, I still didn't got it working. Anyone has an idea what I could do? I really don't feel like downloading the whole thing again :'(

Try deleting gameclient.exe in the Live folder. It should re-mirror just that file.

Or, failing that, delete gameclient.exe and exes.hogg to force a redownload too.

tried both, now when i press engage i get Unable to start game client.

Is this Vista/Win7 and did you install in Program Files? If so, please try running the launcher as Administrator (right click on it -> run as admin).

Out of curiosity, are you indeed on Vista/Win7 and installed into ProgFiles?

I got a version mismatch as well

game worked yesterday, but doesn't today, apparently

tbh, I don't like this at all, with only 2 weeks left 'til release
and with promise of play/access to game, upon pre-ordering

I don't mind bugs and things to fix,
but version control should be adequately taken care of by the devs, no?

working now

this is odd
might have to do with launching the shortcut with administrator rights

The workaround is to run everything as admin, the real fix is to not install to Program Files.
