stalled out on char creation screen after a disco

The problem begins in Incubation room 2 or it'll begin in Incubation room 3.
just as the Elachi are being stopped from harvesting more beings,
the Incubators which are supossed to be glowing with people ready to be freed.
Nothing further happens, No poeple can be freed and the instrument panel which is usually glow for the rest of the incubators to be set on fire, doesn't glow.
I've tried 10 times, nothing happens.
