So got booted during tutorial and it reset me back a few stages and cannot continue to next stage because showing I've already completed it.

To be exact; Im stuck at destroy damaged probes even though I already did it before disconnect.

Same problem here in The Price of Liberty tutorial mission.

I disconnected just as I was about to beam down to Vega Colony.

When I relogged, I was warped to the Damaged Probe area and cannot advance.

Yes, the progress display shows me at "Beam down to Vega Colony". All previous stages are checked, but I am in the "Destroy Damaged Probes" map. Also, that stage and the "Destroy Active Probes" stage both show 0/4 even though they are checked off. I can destroy endless numbers of damaged probes, but it doesn't increment.

While doing the Destroy Active Probes objective, I was disconnected from the server. When I reconnected, I was in the subzone for the Assist Rescue Effort objective. Since I already completed the Assist Rescue Effort objective, there was no way for me to trigger the event that warps me to the next subzone, trapping me in that segment of the tutorial with no way to progress.

Guess this never came up in closed beta since there weren't enough people in the tutorial zone to see these sorts of disconnects.

Just wondering as I won't be home to start testing for about 2.5 hours... have any of you tried to see if you can cancel the completed missions/objectives? You probably have, but sometimes the obvious isn't so obvious. :)

The "Drop" button in the mission tracker is disabled for the "Price of Liberty" tutorial mission. Second thing I checked. ;) Thanks for the thought, though!

So I created a character. Then got to where I was trying to beam to the disabled ship before I was disconnected. Now you guys are implying that I'll never be able to complete the tutorial with this character?

we are saying that a lot of us are getting stuck at bad reset points due to disconnects and not being able to progress.

Im on my second char and just got disconn right before beaming to Vega colony. I have a feeling im fubared again!

Same. So assuming till this is resolved that you either have to be really lucky or just wait.

On my 3rd char now. Gonna try one last time to make it through tutorial before giving up till I see the server more stable.

I'm assuming that this is due to the fact that this is part of the initial storyline. Once you've completed this mission you get set free?

For those stuck in the "damaged drones" area, I managed to fix this by flying out of the map (to the south east when clicking the globe icon at the top right of your screen), then I automatically "spawned" at the active probes area and was able to fly toward the planet.

Hopefully I won't get stuck again; but if I do, I will test this out and report back

Same thing happened to me, managed to luckily get out of the mission on my second character after it crashing as I started the mission (one of the early zones, phew)

I got similar info in game, except it suggested flying "up" out of playable space, and it worked, digging me out of this particular hole. Phew.

I tried flying out and everything turned blue. I'm still flying I think, but I can't steer the ship with my mouse anymore.

I changed instances and flew up, it worked. Thanks for the tip guys.
