Sol Lag and Disconnects

I'm having similar issues in Sector Space. I get disconnected pretty much every time I try to enter a system.

Whenever I go to sol space, and the Spacedock, there's always a ton of lag and "Server not Responding" to disconnect like every 3 minutes. Its ludicrous. The person/ship replacement bug takes a good 5 minutes and 2 disconnects to fix, and a good minute/minute and a half to equip something.

ive got also problems to enter the sol system ... load screen stops by ca. 80% ... after a while i see the base but with the red message "server disconnected" ... seems to be a high frequented place right now ... will tray it later

similar issue here i get stuck at the loading screen and the other two computers in the house...including my wifes weaker lap top get right in.

I get in to the sol system allright, but i get disconnected well before i can get to a new system. So i am basically stuck since i disconnec before i can get out.

im just glad that im not the only one who has this problem ... btw is the ticket system disabled? cause my character stucks already in the load screen ... i wanna get out of this twilight zone! :D

My character is stuck at loading the Sol system.

I've left it on the loading screen for up to 15 mins with no joy... Don't want to make another char. if i'm just going to get stuck trying to enter the Sol system again when i get there....

Get through 80% of the Sol system loading screen and then hang. As much fun as testing this particular part of beta is, I would like to test some other parts of the game.

Unable to load Sol with any characters. :confused:

Wish we could get some kind of indication as to what might be causing this. DEVs, do you want DXDIAG reports or is this a known issue?

I'm also having the same problem getting into the Sol system, but it only seems to be my computer the other two computers in the house have no problems with Sol. My machine meets more than the minimum requirements so I know it's not this. Oddly if I load into Sol on one of the other comps and then login on my computer I can usually get in.

Having the same problem since yesterday, game stopper for me. Made it thru the horrible lag in Vega Colony but stuck on load up screen to SOL. All I see is the warp graphics and stays there until I restart comp. Cannot even escape it without shutting down comp.

Anyone find any solution information or explanation yet? Looked over forums but so far no viable comment except maybe too many trying to get on server. As stated, been like this since yesterday morning, comp freezes and cannot report in game.

I get stuck in the load screens as well. I just left vega colony for sol. I've had to restart the game at every loading screen. I hope this is fixed soon.

I get the same problem, as I've said. Try running it in windowed mode so you don't have to restart computer, next time you try.

Is that all?
Stalled out for over an hour on that loading screen myself.
bout to have my second (actually 4th) char stalled there any minute.
I get tired of trying to get past that screen, wipe one char and start a new one only to get stalled there again.

Ah well, at least I get to try all the uniform options, right?

I allso get zapped to the twilight zone get to 89.somethiung percent just to have it freeze on me left it for 20 mins still nothing, whats the point of having ftp games if they dont WORK.
this game has so much potential but is getting stuffed by bugs and crap servers.
and to people that say"loads of people have started to play now its free" well my answer to that is " you know its gonna need way more server space than whats available so add more ,not just 1 or 2 more like 100 more ,all games develpoers have same prob ,,,,GET A BRAIN you all know the xtra servers wont be enough it never is please guyz sort this prob out i would play this game non stop IF IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 hours of loading loading loading 89.87 % then stops and relaunch,don't even know how many times already

best advice for any player (newb like me ) is to avoid Sol like plague

2 days playing 6 crashes 5 hours of loading of Sol system

no lag anywhere else or any other issues

one of those bugs that puts players off game they would like to play

shame really as this game could be great :mad:

I am sorry to say but there no workaround to the “Server nor responding…”.
this bug was on beta days, launch days, 2 months after launch days, and ofcourse ftp days.
this bug was the main reason I stopped paying cryptic my money.
it only happens with this game, and it’s not going to change.
let go back to Rift now….
