Game Connection Failed

I was playing my Fed toon when upon entering a PvP queue in the midst of the Sirius Sector, that there was a server connection failure.

I tried entering my Fed toon several times, yet, I still get a "Game Connection Failed" after selecting him. I can enter the game with my Klingon toon and play but not my Fed....

Anyone else have this problem? First time I've experienced or heard of it..

Me too. I'll get to the Character Select screen, pick my character and it will fail to load every single time.

yeah i started a new character and i kept getting that message but when i went to my regular one it was fine.

As I posted in another thread just like this one.. the instance will have to time out first. When the instance is closed, it will spit you back out onto the sector map.

Add me to this problem... Been playing since Early Closed Beta and never had this particular issue... Character Selection pops up fine, choose my dude... small load then connection failure.

I wished I could say this works and it still might but I believe too much time has passed. Majority of the time, an avg PvP queue wouldn't last 20 mins but then again, it could. We'll see, but I just checked and still login to my Fed toon. I have the same response.

same here, join pvp battel then disconect from server....more then 15min continue.... !

Happening to me too, except I wasn't PvP'ing. I had finished part of a mission and was beaming back up to my ship. Now I can't log in on that character.

I just tried going into a PvP instance (Broken Planetoid) and I now have the same problem on my Klingon..

I guess its off to playing Crysis Warhead...

Was finishing "Minefield" mission and I get the Game Server Connection Failure message.

Same thing. I joined a pvp match with my Klingon and got disconnected. I can no longer log in to the character.

In fact even before this one happened I was kicked and when I went back to desktop I had a cryptic error. When I relaunched it checked 98,000 game files?

I normally just cancel that out, but I didn't get kicked from the client...just the server.

Certainly looks like an expanding and valid issue that has gone beyond the rare issue that affected me prior to this patch. Worthy of a bump to get attention.

On a personal update....

I am now able to login to my Fed character. It took roughly 30 mins but it does, apparently, work itself out with time.

I hope it does for everyone as well and I hope that Cryptic fixes that soon... I hate missing PvP..

Yep. No server connection after getting kicked from entering into a ground pvp queue, and now continuing to get 'no server connection'.
