Hey! I was at that PAX! I was enforcing in the PC freeplay and tournament. People kept mistaking me for an albino until they saw my eyes. o_o DELICIOUS A1! I want your tattoo. T_T Aaaanywaaay. Hiiiii! :D

Captain's log, stardate...I think it was Tuesday...I have....grown sideburns...and though you can't see it, I had a goatee growing in this image. I later decided it didn't look that great and shaved it off.

No, sadly. It wasn't advertised nearly enough. It was right next to the Chinese theater and I only knew about it because I go into LA a lot. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the ad for it. But they did have the entire bridge from TNG and a ton of replicas and actual prop pieces.

Aww! I'm sorry to hear that! But hey, at least you got to go on the ride! I kept getting on it cuz i LOVED fighting the Klingons with La Forge in the shuttles. The Borg ride was cool, but not as fun as the TNG one. Yeah definitely check it out if you ever have the time to.

I feel your pain! I also live in a small town, and it IS hard to find a Trekkie. I tried to gather some friends to play this game, but they all rolled their eyes at me and said they'd rather play WOW.

Lucky! It's so much fun to play with friends in real life. I've got two mildly interested, but the monthly fees is the poison that the tribble eats. :( I'm a lifer myself, so i'm covered, but to a non Trekker who doesn't know who the Borg are, this game isn't that good in their eyes. Heck, i've even forced them to watch all the movies, and currently have them hooked on DS9 season 1. There may be hope! :D

Advice from a woman - let her sit down and make a character. Let her take all the time she wants, and then let her play the tutorial. If she's a true Trek fan and that doesn't hook her, nothing will.

Well, I'm a girl. She might like that everything can be customized. My other girlfriends really like that in a game. And I personally just like blowing stuff up. :D

Ah, I went Thursday. Didn't plan far enough ahead for 4-day tickets. I got them this year, though. I'm hoping the new Trek movie will be there, if they can get the script finalized in time.
