Cryptic,
Many of us with pre-order keys, Cryptic accounts, and who've played in open beta are unable to purchase the lifetime sub.
In my own case, I've sufficient credit on my card, but am getting a message that the transaction is declined. However, my credit card company say that although they should see a record for any declined transaction, there's nothing on their system - the problem is at Cryptic's end.
Can you please resolve this, and/or extend the deadline beyond Sunday 1st Feb to ensure those who want to purchase the lifetime Sub/1-year sub with bonuses can do so.

Did you put in a support ticket or call them? It would get you a better response than posting in here, where it may not be seen in time.

I had a similar problem last night. I used a different credit card and got it to work. Not sure why it didn't work with my one card; not expired and had enough balance to handle the transaction. There was a period of time too when I couldn't see my list of productso on the site. Seems like the maintenance on the site has been going up and down lately up til the Head Start launch. Try again in a bit and see if you don't get any different results. :)

I put in a support ticket 2 days ago, still unanswered.
One time after clicking on submit, I got a 'Decline' message again, then immediately got a mail from Cryptic:
This email is to confirm that you have purchased for EUR. Your order number is (and an order number)
Apparently I purchased a space, for zero... *shrug*
Unfortunately, I don't have another credit card, and haven't used paypal before... they need stuff faxed to them to confirm my identity, which I did earlier today, but it wasn't processed before their close of business today, so I assume that's it from them till Monday.
My only other option is to persuade my wife that she wants to let me use her credit card to buy a *lot* of game time... which will be an interesting conversation...

when I have gone to purchase the lifetime subscription it shows up as gray, and goes to the list of pre-order retailers. I can't seem to find any other way of accessing the option to get the lifetime subscription. I too only have one credit card and had to talk some people into letting me pay them a little late so I could pull this off and now it looks like it might not happen due to this site error...I really hope they offer this later/extend the time that this is offered buy a few weeks. I'll be checking back later.

You need to be logged in on the website and have a preorder key attached to your account for this option to not be grey.

I've been in the beta for a while, did some testing, so I know my key is registered, and I preordered at Best Buy. However, there is nowhere on the site I can see or get to that has any option for a subscription purchase. I tried two computers, firefox, internet explorer on each just to see if some option wasn't disiplaying for some bizarre reason. Nothing, so I submitted a ticket explaining my problem. I got an auto e-mail message back saying that billing support will be able to do something during business hours Mon-Fri. Not getting anwhere online I thought I'd call them, but understandably phone support is business hours also. The problem I have with this is I'm at work during business hours, and the Mon. that they can get back to me is the deadline... It wouldn't be a big deal, but it's a limitted time offer. If other people are having these issues I'd really hope that Cryptic would see fit to offer them what they wanted but for some reason or another had technical difficulties getting. That sweet sweet subscription we're all after. I know this is a long post, sorry about that.

I presume you've seen the link to "Special Promotional Offers" on the right hand side of the home page? Click on that to get to the purchase page. Hopefully it works for you...

I had to get a block removed from my card earlier from trying to purchase this the other day.
Tried again just now and it went through fine.
This is on a VISA card from the UK.

My CC is Visa and I'm buying from Ireland - though I think the CC company themselves are UK based. They've said they're not even seeing the transaction declined on their system, which they should.
But - despite checking my online CC account and seeing I still haven't succeeded in buying the lifetime - I've just been able to create a Liberated Borg Klingon...

Thanks for the advice on the banner in the client's launch window, and also for the for the home page link idea. Both of these go to the same place which is one of two logical places to look. I see the two limitted time offeres there, the life time and the one year, but choosing either or those only shows me where I could pre-order from and that link only brings me to the retailer. I've already got a pre-order, that's how I was in the beta testing. The other logical place I could think of is your account. It says in there you should be able to manage your billing info, but I don't have any options which is why I tried a different browser and another computer with two browsers. I and three other people (in case I'm and idiot trying too hard and miss the obvious somehow) can't see any way to purchase the lifetime offer. Thanks for trying anyway though, it's nice to know this thread is at least looked at.

Just a thought... how many keys are you supposed to have? I just have my pre-order key that I used to join the beta testing. Are you supposed to get another one sometime before the public release on Feb. 2nd?
