What do you mean? If you have the head start, you dont have your beta characters of course.:rolleyes:

After beta, everything got wiped. Standard procedure for any game going from beta to production.

We've known for like, forever, that beta characters were going to get permanently wiped for Headstart.

Standard operating proceedures for all MMO games.

All beta material is used for testing. It is then erased, discarded, deleted, swept up, thrown out, stomped on, laughed at, and then sent to China to be used in knock-off games.

This is the Head start, where you will be able to play, and keep your character and equipment in its advanced stage beyond the retail launch on the 2nd.

It's standard procedure to delete beta characters because they may have gltiched quests, messed up stats or have items that have improper stats. By wiping the slate they ensure that everything is starting fresh and clean with no pre-existing issues.

Its why I didn't push past LtCommander 4 during beta. I wanted to save SOMETHING for myself.

there has also been a number of posts about players beeing deleted after the beta why do people think beta's are the real game!

i.e. Fail Q (While playing the beta one week in)

Player "Wow this game has so meany bug's"

Me "Well No s**t its a beta"

Player "And! there should not be this meany bugs"

I would assume that they have backups of these things. Most companies do. I'm pretty patient.

The characters you were using were made during beta so they were wiped. Now you can make your new ones and play for real.

Characters made during Head Start will continue into the Live release. Beta characters are forever gone.
